Haney very hittable and nothing special, Garcia can KO Him

Naw it will take a great fighter to beat Haney. Loma was able to do it, but he is a legend. Ryan is OK but not great. Not going to happen.

 

Loma is severely overrated.

With that said, Ryan might not be the guy, but Tank, Shakur, maybe even Teo can and should beat him.

 

I agree that Haney wins fights mainly due to being able to rehydrate by 11KG's which is a huge advantage

 

It will take something special to beat him.

Always thought Haney was basic, had all he could handle with a shop worn Linares. Lost to Lomachenko. Having said that, he looked stronger after moving up vs Prograis. Think basic plodded brawlers make him look good. Maybe Garcia can do what Jorge did or better.

Bull****, you’re just trying to create conversation. Haney just shut out a 140 lb world champion in Prograis.

120-107 on all three judges’ score cards. Prograis has never had a fight like that, throwing and missing for 12 rounds and bear in mind he was the world champion so that gives you an idea of what transpired in Haney vs Prograis. It was top notch boxing of the highest order from Haney.

There's weight divisions for a reason, other than heavyweight there's no restrictions including mental or IQ.

If Haney’s been a weight bully up until now, it shouldn’t be a hindrance if he’s fighting a guy who was moving up from 135 who’s only had one non world title fight at 140.

Mentally, Garcia isn’t logical and rational.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Garcia is going to be useless. Garcia could turn up and act unorthodox to his usual self. He could swing a hail Mary and be successful.

 

Let's not be intellectually dishonest here...........that's a problem on this forum, people let their dislike of someone cloud their objectivity. Haney has good defense and his hands are quick (not the most elite speed but definitely above the average for his division). His ko power, well I've said eventually it'll be his downfall so yea true, but to act like he can't outbox Ryan Garcia and 80% of those campaigning where he's at is just silly. Loma definitely won IMO but that's Loma. I have my own thoughts about who's gonna eventually beat him but Ryan ain't one of those guys.
