I was never a fan of reggaeton but Dominicans out here in NYC be throwing some of the best reggaeton parties around, BTW fred when reggaeton was real popular acouple of years ago were the Mexicans in Cali bumping it also?

I hardly hear any ragaeton when im in LA or Sac
I was at a dodger game and they showed Daddy Yankee on the big screen and no one cheered it was a sign of where his popularity is not on the west coast on the east coast and with young kids who back in the 90's would wear kriss kross clothes all backwards

Anyways that Santos Margarito fight was shady to in PR but that has nothing to do with the common PR

and im glad im a Latino living on th west coast because Latinos in NY do not got sh*t no supermarkets nothing major in LA and msot of Cali you can find Mexican supermarkets Mexicans care sales Mexican anything

no hard feelings man, I didn't even see the fight you were talking about ... although I can have my opinions (just like you and everyone in this forum) I'm not going to go ahead and lable you as a hater. We can agree to disagree and still enjoy each others opinions. As far as the thread goes, I agree with the point of all boxing fans being ashamed of what you described, not just puertoricans, what I was really ashamed of were all the rumors spreading in PR about Margarito using steroids atsch I even made a thread mentioning it, so we have shame, but what you bring up was more of a boxing mess not a race one.

 

Salsa and that Jibaro music are things to be proud of, all reggaeton is good for is getting a batch to grind on you.
