Fury is far and away the most relevant topic on this forum and has been for ages. Some posters here devote almost every single post they put up to Fury. Every time he farts there's a forensic investigation.

He’s only relevant in so far as never shutting up even when he’s not actually getting in the ring proving his proclaimed dominance - proclaimed not just by himself but a certain contingent of his die hard fans.

But I agree, he isn’t the only subject in boxing to chewed over - so over preoccupation with him at either end of the debate/discussion isn’t ideal.

We would’ve had material answers if the originally scheduled fight came off - as soon it was postponed we knew we’d be subjected to more talk talk.

I’m really looking forward to when they finally step into the ring to settle this. Excited discussion in anticipation is a good thing but perhaps it’s reached its use by date re this fight - all that’s left is for the all important, long awaited fight to go down.

Don't worry mate, Usyk isn't going to get screwed by refs or judges. They won't have a great impact imo. Won't need to

Facts, can't wait to hear the excuses of postponement, fake eye injury, etc lol

Maybe usyk's water will be drugged??

I honestly think Fury is going to batter him

Usyk has to brawl when Fury is doing his clinches in the same way that sparring partner did and cut Fury ..but this isn't how Usyk fights. Usyk likes clean fighting space. He won't engage in close. His clinch defence is designed to allow him to escape and remain mobile. He resorts to single arm clinches many times and expects a clean referee break shortly after but that is expecting way too much from a ref. He got caught by berb and Chisora doing this one arm underhook. If one arm is free or if there is an opportunity for both to work out of a clinch referees will normally allow them to work it out. I have no doubt Usyk has gone through all these tactics for his camp but ultimately he has to use his feet to stay away from Fury and he knows this. Meanwhile Fury just needs to keep firing and wearing the smaller man down in a fashion that AJ and Dubious are unable to do and in a fashion Chisora could have done if he had more than a 4 rounds gas tank.

I know I'm going to be called a fanboy but I think Fury might make this look easier than many expect by the mid rounds

As you say, uysk will want to box clean, he doesn't want Fury roughing him up inside and beating him to the body, clinching, hitting on the break etc

I think Fury will bully him. Usyk has the southpaw style and he will target the cut, but Fury has the large target below to aim for. Usyk won't get 10 mins to recover when Fury smashes his liver

It's about sustaining big man pressure whilst boxing smart

AJ boxed smart then was gassed by round 8 and put no real physical pressure on Usyk because the rabbit can easily use his feet to make him look dumb

Fury is a different animal though. On his worst night he's still physically hard to deal with.

The beauty of Fury is he won't reset or let Usyk off when he hits him to the body. Usyk does hide very well how hurt he is sometimes but even if Fury sniffs it out or not it won't matter because he'll still be on him. He'll feel him go weak not just see it. As with Cunningham he said he started to feel him go weak and Fury started dancing at the end of round 5 then round 6/7 crippled him to the solar plexus and finished it

Haters referring to anyone who doesn't hate as fanboys is just plain childishness. People are entitled to voice an opinion on the outcome of the fight without the childish B.S. being directed their way. The sooner this fight gets resolved the better and may the best man win.

I believe the opposite. Easy win
OK then, if you believe that then stop crying about refs and judging. Let the fight happen first

Lol at thinking Usyk can stop Fury. Maybe cuts, but no chance otherwise

He can only win on points. Fury has never been knocked out unlike Usyk vs Dubois. Now THAT was dodgy officiating

I think this press conference was to let people know Fury hasn’t pulled out again…..not yet, anyway

Because given fury’s unpredictability. I think the promoters wanted to reinforce ticket buyers confidence this huge event is going to happen

Fury’s pulling out over numerous reasons over the last couple yrs, then his pulling out again in February, after it was all set t and done……..fury’s pulling out, again, is always a possibility, and has many I was questioning it until we see them in the ring

Its the chicken or the egg argument. Your first sentence could just as easily be flipped and framed as: -

“Fanboys referring to anyone who doesn’t gushingly love as they do, as Haters, is just plain childish”.

I’m not calling you either btw, but there are guilty parties on both sides of the fence - best to leave both terms of “endearment” out of the discussion altogether.
