What now for Gill? There's only so many times you can come back from losing to Euro level guys.

Get himself in the I'm a celeb jungle next year then batter Conlan again followed by a trilogy fight and batter him again.

Good fight to watch and great finish by Zelfa. Puts him back in contention for titles.

just watched this, Gill seems to have got carried away thinking he’s the Terminator after knocking out the most fragile man in boxing, and thought he could just walk down Zelfa using no traps or feints.

Zelfa…still looks like a robot programmed to fight ‘slick’. for me this is his limit, but at least now he has a good stoppage win on his record.

Why does every fighter have to be a world beater. Plenty of guys that made a career as British euro level fighters. Being a two weight euro champion wouldn’t be sneezed at.

but if he still fancies going again. The winner of bellotti vs Gomez jr then a fight with Conlan/Lara wouldn’t be bad. Won both of those he’s right back in the mix

Absolutely. Better fighters than Gill have gone back to domestic level once they've reached their limits.

That's not really the case here. Gill was being tipped for big things, got stopped by a Mexican cherry pick gone wrong, gradually rebuilt himself against more than beatable opponents before then going life and death with Guerfi, a great fight but one that showed up Gill's weaknesses yet again. The corpse of Kiko then stops him and effectively ends any hope of becoming a World Champion. Apparently after that he was going to kill himself, fights Conlan in a fight basically marketed as the last chance saloon for both fighters. He wins, this fight gets made and he gives it a go but loses. This was not the script pre Tinico and then pre Kiko. The fact that he nearly killed himself after the Kiko fight means that "where does he go now" is more than a valid question. Gill was getting groomed for a Warrington style road to a World Title and Tinico derailed the train beyond complete repair.
