No chance Haney weighed more, literally zero percent.

True, but we should not overlook Garcia blatantly turning his back against his opponent. He should have had points taken for that.
At least the ref allowed Haney to hit him in the back, so I guess it kinda played out a bit fair.
But there were many, many instances where Garcia was covering up and all Haney could do was throw the left hook because Garcia turned his back to him.

But this BS tactic worked really well for Garcia. Haney is a sneaky body puncher and Garcia managed to take it away from Haney. A cheater got a taste of their own medicine.

And there were people who believed Haney should move up to 147 and pick the belts there.

Now imagine Crawford or Boots vs Haney - it would be a destruction.

No chance he outweighed Haney by 15 pounds. Haney was probably somewhere in the 155-160 range, Garcia wasn't 175 pounds. They were probably similar in weight.

A welterweight beat a junior welterweight.

Haney draining himself to make weight as opposed to Garcia not draining made a huge difference in the fight.

But I still can't believe Garcia got past the whole crazy routine to be able to perform for 12 rounds.

Haney had to fight someone bigger, stronger and faster than himself for a change, but if Garcia did drop those last 3.2 pounds who knows how different the fight could have been.

IB FunFact: Haney is the first undefeated opponent García has beaten in his pro career.

How Garcia had a point taken but Devin Haney didn't I don't know. The amount of holding Haney did was ridiculous.

Yes the ref was incredibly biased towards Haney. He was quick to deduct a point from Garcia but Haney was holding like an octopus all night and Dock did nothing.
