This guy had no strength. He is still young and made some decent money. He should go to start up a gym in Oklahoma with his dad.

He could work in a freak show with that ugly mug I think that’s the right career choice now for Devin

He took a beating. He looked concussed with a broken jaw and still was getting rocked around for 4-5 rounds after.

He is not gonna make 140 for much longer either. He looked like he was in Auschwitz at weighin. If Ryans punches were doing that to him including the opening minute what is he gonna do at 147?

    His career is effectively over.

No need to retire. He is a good boxer who I can see winning a rematch on a level playing field such as the same weight.

Wtf is wrong with you? Lots of good fights left for him. Win some, lose some.

Definitely shouldn't retire. He doesn't strike me as the type of guy that will be mentally broken by this loss, but he's certainly going to struggle more in every fight from this point on.

Rolly Romero said it before, Haney is just cursed with inferior genetics lmao. Mid chin, barely any power. Now everybody with good size will know they can just walk him down to get to his chin. I do still think he can accomplish more in his career though. Him beating Garcia in a rematch isn't inconceivable and if he used the right gameplan I still think he can beat Teo, Tank and Shakur. He's gonna win some and lose some but there's still money to be made and a legacy to create. No reason to retire

It's crazy to me to see grown men on here judging other men by their physical features. That's very gay to me.

No need to retire but I agree with BHop, he won’t have a long career. At least not at the top levels of the sport while having to move up in weight.

He doesn’t have the chin or the punching power to keep opponents honest. From 140-147 there’s quite a few bangers and Haney showed tonight that he’s no Mayweather or Sweet Pea as regards his defense.

That was a **** poor defensive performance against an opponent that literally had 1 weapon, for a fighter that supposedly is a technician in the ring.

 Boxing fans complain about how multiple titles and PPV´s ruin the sport while spewing garbage like this.

Retire after 1 loss? Imagine if there was some rule which dictated this. Come on man, real boxing fans should know better than to jump the gun like this.
