Undersized, age, and a little bit of arrogance. Loma lost clearly against Lopez but he has himself to blame for starting too slowly and letting it slip away. I personally think Loma would have beaten Lopez if they ever fought again.

Loma was definitely robbed against Haney and should have been undisputed. Although it didn’t help that Loma didn’t follow up with finishing the final round strong after being so dominant in the previous rounds.

Loma beat Haney for sure and you could argue that he at least did not lose to Lopez. (or close loss)

You can clearly see what happened to Haney when he fought someone close to his size and weight and close to his age

Loma get up to LW just because he could not become undisputed at lower weights.

Loma never actually get the credit for stopping so many fighters, that were bigger than him.

It's sad to see only US/UK/AUS fighters gets most credit, when Asian/EU fighers are doing much more

Loma, while not "whooped" or dominated as some of ESB's resident morons allege, nevertheless lost and deservedly so to Lopez.

    Alternatively, Loma beat Haney 115-113.

I think one of the variables is who the opponent was

If you are going in against Loma you know you bring your A game, in training you are more likely to give abit more, will have a gameplay that you intend to stick to

On fight night you are going to be focused mentally, expecting a hard fight (if not the hardest fight so far) and you are going to want to prove you belong at this level

Vs a Kambosos or Garcia, both Lopez and Haney I think went into the fight almost as if they already had the win, expected an easy night and got suprised - I think the mindframe going into the fights made a big impact with these fights.

Put those fights with unbiased, neutral judges and it's a clear UD win and a draw.

I put it down to Lomachenko not having a high IQ in regards to professional ranks, he gave away too many early rounds vs Lopez, he gave away 12th round vs Haney, he seems to shut off at vital moments in competitive fights that have cost him.

Now even though I do think Lomachenko beat Haney 115-113, why is he giving away the 12th round in a competitive fight ?

No he clearly lost to Lopez scoring that fight a draw would've been unfair Lomachenko did nothing for the first 6 rounds and lost the 12th round big.

Well, he had a (reasonable) fear of getting muscled by the bigger man in Teo and had to gauge everything before he turned up. If there would've been an immediate rematch he would've reversed the loss versus Teo. As for Haney, I thought Loma comfortably won that fight.

There's only one person that I think would actually make Loma look humble and bad, Shakur. Even at this advanced stage Loma is still very much top 5.............hell even top 3 in his division, he's gonna dominate Kambosos

Also nobody gave him a rematch. Sad reality of US boxers. Karma got both of them

This right here. I realized in the Salido fight that he was still fighting as an amateur. Any pro would retaliate after multiple punches to the nuts. He just figured "the judges will deduct points " .

Too far out of his natural weight class. Check out the face-offs and it looks like he's lining up against the wrong fighter on the card.

Those were both close fights and he’s a lot smaller than those two. Garcia’s power and size made all the difference. Don’t know how kambosas beat teo though
