No problem mate you put forth a good case I don't think we were a million miles away in our views I think I was just a bit more controversial in my way of thinking. Again maybe i was a bit OTT because it was just after a big fight and emotions are going to be a bit high but it is what is.
No, it's normal - We all use hyperboles in communication and express ourselves in more loose manner. I mostly wanted to put forward the case that Ryan shouldn't be allowed to get away with missing weight so easy. There's always going to be incentive to keep the fights on for business reasons - so I think it's important for there to be the level of scrutiny and ostracism to prevent people from doing it.
If you had Haney winning the Loma fight, you need to go watch a different sport. Boxing is not for you.
And who are you for me to take your opinion seriously? A lot of poeple had it like that. Close fight, could have gone either way. I can see an argument for Loma winning too.
“A lot of people had it like that”, lol. Go learn how a boxing round is actually scored, and then you’ll be taken seriously.
Idk whether it's a skill or just a willingness to take a more extreme risk (albeit supervised). The question, though, is whether others should be put in a position where they have to risk their health to cut to that extreme in order to not be at a disadvantage against guys like Haney. For me it's an obvious no, but right now it's the decision they're forced to make.
Oscar supplied a special water bottle to Derrick James so that Ryan could properly “Rehydrate” between rounds. Panama Lewis was blushing in Hell.
Don't remember all these weight crybabies when Froid came in too heavy against a blown-up lightweight and had to pay him off.
These Haney homers are pathetic. The kid got his face rearranged and a broken jaw. It was Haneys second actual loss as Loma outclassed him as most serious pundits agreed.
