No doubt Haney will beat Garcia in the rematch. Garcia needs to make weight next time. Haney was winning most of the rounds at half way

    Lol.

The troll alts coming out of the woodworks I see. Posted from the same alt who thought Haney got robbed.

If you actually followed boxing you'd know that Garcia has already stated he will never make the 140 limit and fought his last fight at 143. Also, Haney agreed to fight after the 3.2 pounds was known and has been known to have a fragile mandible ever since Linares.

It wasn't close enough to warrant an immediate rematch imo. And nah only way he could beat Ryan after this is use a gameplan that looks like he don't want to be in the ring with him. Running don't win fights. And Ryan wasn't fighting to his potential either, so the rematch has potential to be even worse.

No lol. Ryan knocked down Haney 5 times (two of them weren’t called). Haney can’t handle pressure at all unless he outweighs the guy by 20+ lbs

I'm not sure it was the pressure as much and not having the power to get Ryan's respect and getting himself setup for bait punches. Can't come with a supersoaker vs a bazooka lol.

agreed the power made the difference. we’ve also seen him rocked against linares and Loma when they were on the inside throwing combinations. The difference is they were smaller than Haney and less power of course

In hindsight, people including myself were wild for picking Haney.

Haney got hurt by Linares and even JoJo Diaz. The dude for all his size is actually very weak physically, he can't punch and he can't take a punch. I favor every decent power puncher that's his size to beat him.

Perhaps I am in the minority, here, but Haney winning a rematch is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. He won 4 of the first 5 rounds, probably five overall, and outboxed Garcia for stretches of the fight.

So it isn't as if Haney had no success or that he was simply battered from pillar to post from the opening bell. Two of the three judges, in fact, gave him the 8th Rd. Obviously, Haney would need to make some tactical adjustments and alter his approach, but it's not as though he'd have to reinvent the wheeel.

Garcia got his number now, sure Haney can make some adjustments, but Garcia gonna be even more confident and knows haneys chin can’t handle his power

Possible, but even if Haney would win, it would be ultra boring with few punches and running and running (of course hugging too), much worse than Joshua-Ruiz 2 approach, he'd fight scared. While no way Ryan would meet him below 147 anymore. Garcia doesn't need Haney after all, especially after that conclusive and satisfying result.

Haney should move on, make a come back fight, then entice Tank and Pitbull, two opponents he would have his supposed advantages.

Id like to see it at 145 or wherever ryn garcia wants, but haney killing himself and ryan coming in not weight drained played Huge factor. Basicly haney couldnt hurt him due to not being at the same weight class and ryan having devastating power due to being 3 pounds heavier. Those 2 were the biggest determining factors.

I bet on Garcia to KO Haney. Assuming they fight at 147, no way Haney can win. Really, no way.
If anything Garcia learns from the experience and finished Haney off the first time he wobbles
Haney, instead of letting him survive to a potential decision.

That's ridiculous. There's no excuses. Haney was bigger on fight night and rehydrated a lot more than Ryan did. Why do you think Eddie Hearn and Bill Haney tried to cover this up by not having Devin weigh in a second time?
