Is Devin Haney's "Bow and arrow jab" the reason he lost?

I think it is just that he has shown he can somewhat stand up to a featherweight shot, but a proper 140 plus lb fighter with a little power can rock his world.

And all the while weighing more than Hagler

 

There are two types of jabs that are new to me, but recently heard about:
Stab Jab.
Bow and arrow jab.

They go along with check hook, lead hook, swivel hook, and rear hook.

Life used to be simpler back in the 20th Century.

 

They are just terms that people make up in order to sound smarter than they really are.

He is right. Haney isn't as good as advertised.

Haney, the size of Hagler, built his name pot shotting his way through featherweights, and an overrated Kambosos who has no skills.

All while weight more than Hagler..
He got rocked and dropped 5x by a YouTuber Garcia

 

haney did so much wrong even in the first half. he should have just jabbed and moved stayed away he was in garcias face and ate hooks. he clearly wasn't close to as good as we thought. even the ones that didnt like him.

Definitely. Devon failed big time to neutralize the left hook. Ryan doesn't have a whole lot else in his arsenal.

 

Never heard the term "Bow and Arrow" in reference to a jab being thrown in boxing, but Ryan was timing Haneys jab with his left hook which if you're fast enough can be effective as we all seen in the 1st round. IMO Haney lost because Ryan has his number in the pro ranks.
