Which boxers are the betting favourites on the Queensberry vs. Matchroom card?

Queensberry vs. Matchroom concept first proposed by Turki Alalshikh, the Bivol vs. Beterbiev undercard is essentially being billed as “5 vs. 5” and will consist of five Queensberry boxers going up against five boxers from Matchroom, but who are the betting favourites and are there good odds for any of the underdogs?

Beterbiev-Bivol on my bookie is 1.90 for both guys aka 50/50. I am betting big on Bivol
Zhang is 1.50 and Wilder 2.5. I am definitely taking those odds on Wilder.
Hrgovic 1.44 and Dubois 2.75. I will be throwing some money on Dubois.

 

But I`m wondering if the betting odds are different in the UK to betting odds in the US, and how US and UK forum users are planning to bet on this card, if at all, if it`s worth it.

Betting on Dubois is shaky to me. The odds are like that for a reason. I'm not a big supporter of Hrgovic, but Dubois is out of his depth in my opinion.

I do like your Bivol pick however.

 

Well my preferred (UK) bookie has Bivol and Beterbiev both at 11-10 - cowards. Zhang 1-4 vs. Wilder at 6-2. Ball 6-4 against Ford 8-15. Nobody's getting rich at those odds, unless you do an accumulator.

 

Ford vs Ball will be a good fight, that's all I know

 

I think Hrgovic has shot himself in the foot with his level opposition. He has had only 2 thought and competitive fights in his pro career.
Also, even tho he can throw a lot of punches, he does get fatigued like Butterbean. And I expect Dubois to break down his body.

But Hrgovic has a sneaky right hand it will most certainly land from the opening minute. If Dubois can adjust to it and take it on the chin, then he has a good shot at winning. If not, then Hrgovic slaughters him in less than 8.

 

I actually think the value is with Hrgovic there at 1.44. I would have expected him to be a wider favourite, he's just levels above Dubois. Dubois winning would be the most surprising upset on the card imo.

 

Honestly, I was a bit surprised myself. I thought he would be closer to 1.12 or something. I wasn´t expecting anything above 1.2
It will be interesting to see how the odds change as we get closer to the fight. I´d expect people to bet big on Hrgovic given the odds. But it could be that Dubois has raised his profile enough for the money to be flowing in his direction.

 

Ball has quick but should study Mike Tyson on how to fight taller fighters.

 

Plus the fact that Hrg just blew away a bum in his last fight while Dubois beat Miller and Hrg looked poor in the prior fight to his last fight, should be a close fight.

 

Hrg looks very laboured in his fights, I feel Dubois hand speed and power will bother him greatly.
