Hate to tell it as it is but it looked damn shaky. Down and hurt pretty bad, he had jelly legs for sure. He needed damn near the whole ten to stand , he might have fell down again if he got up too quickly Ala Zab Judah so that was smart by him

Most people would have taken that shot without going down tbh

Seems like there’s some glass in his mandible after all

Damn exciting fighter for sure. He could knock you out with any punch but after todays showing, I could see many a fighter rendering him unconscious and Inoue taking a canvas nap

Obviously. He went down off a check jab from myself with 30 oz gloves. What do you expect?

Have you seen the punch knocked him down and the way he hit the canvas? Mf and his head did 180 in the air and you're questioning his chin?

Not sure I agree. Got clipped while throwing with intent himself, and regrouped for a beat down, all early doors.

Clearly trolling, he got caught flush while loading up to throw a shot, usually when you get hit like that you don't get up, but Inoue was in complete control of his faculties, was smart enough to stay down and take the count to maximise his recovery, got up and but a beat down on Nery.

Nery hits hard and he recovered fairly quickly. Wasn't troubled once after that.

    Nothing to see here.

Most 118/122 pounders probably aren't taking that punch and not going down or being quite hurt considering it was mid-exchange and flush + Nery being a big hitter. His chin is fine. Knockdowns usually happen to fighters, save for a select few.

I’m very open to reevaluate a man’s chin but today was definitely not a good showing . As I said we should not assume many would have been knocked down by that shot. Didn’t look all too hard to me

I think that’s why he avoids punchers because like i said to beat him you gotta put damage etc.He can be hurt it’s just his opps can’t crack an egg.You are looking at Jaine McDonalds and Paul Buttler for christsakes.

I know this is trolling but Nery has 27 stoppages in 35 wins.

Rewatching the knockdown it looked more like a mix of over confidence, eagerness, and off balance but he wasn't seriously hurt. Donaire's best punches on Inoue hurt more than Nery's knockdown. I think Inoue's chin is very solid.

Thing is he wasn’t hit clean after that. It proves his defense is good when he’s responsible but dude likes to get reckless which is why Donaire also clipped him.

He was hit clean a couple times after. Only like 2 or 3 times to the chin but still

Definitely on the suspect mandible list after this. But hey, there are certainly other ATGs that had shaky beards..
