This is definitely up there for me. He spent 15 rounds in the ring with an ATG who was landing everything at will, right from round 1.

Check out the bomb Bob Satterfield lays on Rex Layne at the :25 second mark of this clip. Amazing he got up. More amazing he went on to win.

Chacon against Boza in their second fight

He took a pounding and was bleeding badly.

The doctor kept saying one more round.

And he came back to win.

I will always believe Boza deserved a mid rounds stoppage.

No way Chacon makes it the distance today.

Leigh Wood getting up against Michael Conlan in round 1 and going on to win as a recent example. Not sure how he did it.

Julian Jackson getting up from one of the last knockdowns in McClellan 1. You all know the one, where he gets nailed with a right and basically collapses onto McClellans back, who then pushes him back up and decapitates him with a hook, only for Jackson to get back up fighting (and stopped shortly after).

Rex Layne is the greatest HW to never fight for any type of world title.

Riddick Bowe in the Andrew Golota rematch. I was worried he would die in the ring.

Moore vs Durelle 1. Moore, being in his 40s against a 29 year old was floored 3 times in round 1. He made it out and stopped his younger opponent in the 11th round. Interesting thing is that fight was December 10 1958. Moore died 40 years to the day after that fight on December 10 1998.

When guys go down face first like that they usually don’t get up, let alone go on to win. Crazy!
