Did you know Bob Foster shot a man?

Foster, who was a deputy sheriff, was responding to a burglary call and apparently a man pointed a rifle at him. Foster responded by shooting him.

 

I knew that. Think he shot him in the arm

 

He's lucky Foster didn't punch him, lol.

 

I read somewhere recently that Albuquerque is the "most dangerous city" in the United States. I'm not sure I believe it, but I imagine Foster's fame as a knockout artist was a help when he became sheriff and he had to deal with "tough" guys.

 

What if Bob Foster had to arrest Sonny Liston?

 

All of 6’3 1/2” Bob ends up inverted, in either the trash or recyclable bin.

Depends on how charitable Sonny is feeling on the day however.

If he thinks Bob can be remoulded into a better cop, into the recyclable bin he goes.

Sonny could be cruel BUT he was always fair.

 

Recycling is definitely the variable to focus on, in this situation. Academically, this is really the main thing.

 

Deputy Bob did his job and stayed alive.

I knew he was a sheriff, didn't know
he actually shot a subject.
The subject getting shot by Foster was probably
better off than getting hit by a full leveraged
left hook from him tbh.
Imagine a untrained person getting clocked
by the hook that damn near killed Dick Tiger?
Right, Maybe it's better not to imagine that......

I wonder if he knew who Foster was or later found out and then saw some footage of him and realized how lucky he was.

 

Cops tend to shoot you first and ask questions later if you point a weapon at them.
