Frankie The Surgeon Randall vs Meldrick Taylor at 140 lbs, two victims of Julio Caesar Chavez Sr. Who wins and why?

Prior to his loss to Chavez I’d favor Taylor. He was truly one of the best talents in boxing at the time. I firmly believe that loss hurt him badly

Yeah, Because in his next fight , Taylor struggled against Aaron Davis, later he lost to Terry Norris.

He actually soundly outboxed Davis from what I remember but I haven’t seen that fight since 1991. And the Norris fight came at Junior middle against an opponent who he was horribly matched for.

Randall was never a “ victim” of Chavez. Bad officiating maybe

I do believe that the Chavez letdown affected Taylor horribly, especially the stoppage by referee Richard Steele.

Worse than the stoppage was the actual punishment he took. While he was rightfully ahead on the cards, Meldrick sustained far more damage than Chavez did. He was pissing blood after that fight and spent a few weeks in the hospital

I know what that feels like, I just spent four days in the hospital with a bad UTI last week. i urinated pure blood, it was called Hematuria, I was on Antibiotics (Cipro) for that whole week.

Man, I urinated blood clots, had fever, nausea and chills. They did a Ct Scan with and without contrast and found Cystitis in the bladder, indicative of an infection, the Cipro they prescribed for me looked like Horse pills, 500 Mgs.
