I think you're delusional. You probably have a life sized Calzaghe doll that you abuse every night huh? :hi:

    I do

But it doesn't stop us from seeing the truth when we are not playing together, unlike your undieing love for Taylor and Pavlik :hi:

You respect Langford though, don't you? I seem to remember you saying you quite admired him.

I am still waiting on you to answer this point, and back up what you are saying about Hopkins resume v Calzaghe's:

    Hopkins...
stopped Glen Johnson. No mean feat. Calzaghe **** out of the fight with the guy, and that's a fact even Calzaghe fans don't deny.

    Hopkins...
became the 1st man to beat Felix Trinidad (40-0). DLH did not cope well at middleweight, Trinidad could and did.

    Hopkins...
jumped 2 weight divisions at age 40+ and dominated the linear LHW champion Antonio Tarver- another underrated achievement. Superb.

    Hopkins...
became the 1st man in 8 years to defeat the "best defence in boxing" and fellow top 5 P4Per Winky Wright

Give me four wins from Calzaghe's resume to match those four then, and please note how many of them have been in the top 5 p4p and have been under 40 ****ing years old (Hopkins has two- Trinidad and Wright, and linear LHW champion Tarver was in or around p4p top 10 when they fought).

Yea these guys are complete morons. There's no talking any sense into them. You give them a logical argument and then they come at you saying Calzaghe is great because he could have beat Valuev, and Jones, you know if he wanted to and all.

    NO.

Calzaghe last 2.5 years: 5 fights, 5 wins, 1 stoppage

    UD12 Jeff Lacy
(very good performance v decent short-term alphabet champ)

    UD12 Sakio Bika
    (ok performance v decent challenger)

    TKO3 Peter Manfredo Jr
    (a joke.)

    UD12 Mikkel Kessler
(career-best performance v very good short-term alphabet champ)

    SD12 Bernard Hopkins
(unimpressive performance by Calzaghe. Edged a split decision on workrate alone)

Pacquiao last 2.5 years: 7 fights, 7 wins, 4 stoppages

    TKO10 Erik Morales
(rematch with the man who beat him. Became 1st man to stop HOFer Erik Morales

    UD12 Oscar Larios
(equates with Calzaghe-Bika, ok performance v decent challenger)

    KO3 Erik Morales
(wins series 2-1 by stopping Morales again. For the first time, Morales doesn't look like his old self though)

    KO8 Jorge Solis
    (ok performance v decent challenger)

    UD12 Marco Antonio Barrera
(beats HOFer Barrera for the 2nd time with easy points win)

    SD12 Juan Manuel Marquez
(edges a tight decision over the #3 p4p fighter in a brilliant fight)

    TKO9 David Diaz
(wins world title at 4th weight with a masterclass and brilliant KO finish)

Pacquiao has clearly been better over the last 2.5 years- that's why he's #1 and Calzaghe is #2 :patsch

    DON'T say Morales & Barrera were washed-up - Hopkins??
(Morales was anything but washed-up in his 2nd fight with Pac, and Barrera had floored JMM and pushed him all the way in his previous fight - there is NO WAY Morales at 29-30 and Barrera at 33 were any more washed-up than a 43-yr-old man)

DON'T say the Marquez decision was controversial - Hopkins?? SD.
(and even then, Pac was amazing to have such a close fight with JMM, who is in great condition and is the #3 p4p. It was clear in the last rounds v Joe Cal, Hopkins no longer had the stamina to fight 12 rounds)

Juan Manuel Marquez and Erik Morales are a ****ing damn sight better opposition than Jeff Lacy or Mikkel Kessler, and Pac never fought a Manfredo in this period.

    It's PACQUIAO.

Well, I have Joe in the top 10 of the last 25 years. Plus, his career is not yet over. His obvious weak point is the level of competition (not all his fault).

If Joe beats Jones and Pavlik you might have an argument for him being number 1.

"I'm sorry but Calzaghe is DEFINITELY not THE BEST in any weight class of the last 25 years."

But surely Joe is the best at 168 over the last 25 years. If not, who?

In terms of achievement, Calzaghe has definitely been the best at 168. H2H at 168, it is obviously RJJ. Depends which way you look at it.

Easily better than that p*ssy Hopkins. Feigning being fouled by Calzaghe was pathetic. JC is numero uno!!
