The version of Hector Camacho that tore through Bazooka Limon in 84 was one of the fastest fighters l have ever seen. At that point in time he was punching with some bad intentions too. So that’s my pick. However it’s very subjective, there are quite a few already listed who were also just blistering.
Prince Hamed had lightning fast hands but people only remember mainly the punching power but it was the handspeed that allowed him to land the punches from all angles that make that power even more effective. It’s the surprising power punches that you don’t expect that hurts you most an Hamed had the hand speed to do that
For me Davis did not fully commit to his punches, many of them falling just short. His trainer Jimmy Glenn told me money ruined him.
Good post, it is highly subjective. That said I agree with you, the first name that came to mind of the fastest hands I've seen is the 130 pound version of Hector Camacho.
Would have to be someone in the lower weight classes most likely. I like the already suggested names of Camacho and M. Taylor.
My number one for his division. The combinations he throws during the second Johansson fight are ludicrous by Heavyweight standards.
