When it's all said and done, Loma retires for good. How do you see his career all-time in comparison to other boxers? How great is he going to be in retrospect?

Gotta let it play out. If he can beat Shakur and Tank, there is an argument for top 35-50 all time.

Honestly, a disappointment. I don't think he will be in the Top 50, but he should be. He honestly should have won at least 2 of the 3 fights he lost, but got robbed. Time is very much against him so I don't think he will be able to fight against the biggest names while he is off-peak. It's tragic actually because he could have been Top 20-25.

The most skilled fighter i've witnessed in my lifetime.

Tragedy of a career being screwed over in the Salido and Haney clown shows.

But the biggest screw was Mikey Garcia. He should have unified 135 against Garcia but instead had to fight....Anthony Crolla. Why? because Garcia would have rather been pounded out by 147lb Errol Spence than be seen getting outboxed by another 135lber.

Loma isn't blameless either. Choosing to fight Lopez with one arm was DUMB. Wasting a year in Ukraine was BEYOND DUMB... he should have been fighting Kambosos and Haney then.

He should have stayed at 126lbs and 130lbs, floating between those two weights, the likes of Lopez and Haney have too big of a size advantage. We now could have been talking about a potential mega fight with him and Inoue at 126lbs.

Right now he's a borderline great but a long way off ATG if he beats the likes of Tank Davis, Shakur Stevenson, however that changes things he could have an argument to being a lower tier ATG.

He's not an ATG, easy as that.

Who would you consider an ATG since 2010 besides may and Pac?

    Morales counts?

You talk as if there were not many fighters better than loma since 2010, when actually he is not even the #1 p4p. Canelo, crawford, inoue, usky are all, CLEARLY, better than lomachenko p4p.

Unquestionably a hall of famer. An ATG talent at 126/130, not so much at 135. Falls short in the all-time rankings relative to his talent and skill level because the list of wins just isn't top tier.

One of the most unique fighters, to be sure. A pleasure to watch and one of the defining fighters of his era.

Didn't have enough fights to be a top 25 ATG unless he crams in 4 or 5 more bouts.
Certainly in the conversation as a top ten all time in the 125-130 range.

But surely a BHOF invitee. His pro record plus his near 400 ametaur fights makes him a shoo in.

great fighter. unique style that helped fighters after him evolve. bam credits him when speaking about his great footwork. his choice to fight above his best weight is going to hurt him in atg rankings. along with a late starting pro resume. his career could have gone a lot better. but mikey would have beaten him, so it could have gone worse too.
i really dont know where i would put him
