Kovalev already looking gunshy, which comes to no surprise since nearly 5 years ago he looked gunshy against an opponent whom he dwarfed by just as much as Kova's being dwarfed here.

I see some of the old kovalev in there but then I see him ate a shot that wasnt even set up properly. he might have won round 2. but lots of his shots off the mark.

 

It is a bit of a shame that a 3-time former world champion and P4P fighter is fighting in front of no one, but it's about 5 hours before the main event deep in the undercard, it's to be expected.

my favorite work from kovalev was that 1-2-1 where his jab came in like a left cross. needs to get that going. bit closer round, Safer right eye showing the damage from the jab. Kovalev sat on some more shots that round but not enough to take it. if Safar slows down Kovlaev can win some rounds

 

How much are Fury's and Usyk's purses?
