Tbf Briedis was the top-dog in the division, when they faced the first time. And it's not like there are any p4p fighters in CW at the moment.

yeah, what was wrong with the scorecards ?

Two judges scored same as me, and the other dude was only off by a point.

Judges can't do much better than that.

I want to see Opetaia vs Mikaelian for a unification fight. Mikaelian arguably won against a prime Briedis in 2018.

Only 30-45 minutes of padding until the ringwalks, almost there boys.

The style matchup in the exchanges. Briedis short powerful inside rallies. Brutal risky for Jai with wide punching technique.

No, he just looked like a man who hadn't been fighting for two years, and needed a few rounds to get back in the groove.

While true about the atmosphere, I hate seeing retired athletes with their health gone and in financial trouble. These big fights in Saudi help address the financial concern there. Notice how they all give some sort of ass-kiss in when in front of the mic?

Briedis isn’t completely shot, he’d still **** up dudes like Okolie or Billiam Bum Smith.

He doesn’t have the facial structure to take punches without getting marked up.

I think you are exactly right. My point is that if he unleashes a few hard combos early and gets the attention of Jai, then perhaps he changes up Jai's approach/mentality and doesn't get swept on the early rounds. He doesn't have to sustain the attack, but do enough to get through then slow back down.

There is a reason why I am on the couch and not in the ring though lol.
