I just want everyone to remember regardless of the result of Fury Usyk that it could have been worse, no fight at all. I want to thank king turkey personally.

Mannix making excuses on Opeteias behalf is embarrassing

Breidis didn't give anything away, had he gone out with more conviction he likely wouldn't have made it to the end, he did what he had to do, he's a proper warrior.

Okay, I will agree with your last point that he wasn't able to face absolutely everyone. But I still don't really agree that Usyk is the reason for a resurgent division. As at the very top Fury has beaten Whyte (WBC mandatory) and Usyk has beaten Dubois (WBA mandatory.

At the top table the division is more stagnant now than it was then. Fury and Usyk are finally about to fight each other tonight but the fight is years overdue. And in terms of peers both their resumes are thin.

But sure, the division beneath that is certainly more active, but that is more to do with the Saudi bag than the removal of Joshua from the title race. Heck Joshua has been the most active in the top 10 of late.

Briedis has always been criminally underrated. The 3rd best Cruiser ever IMO.

What a sorry state CW is in now...

Other than Opetaia and ancient Briedis, there is noone there.

Tbf Briedis was the top-dog in the division, when they faced the first time. And it's not like there are any p4p fighters in CW at the moment.

yeah, what was wrong with the scorecards ?

Two judges scored same as me, and the other dude was only off by a point.

Judges can't do much better than that.

I want to see Opetaia vs Mikaelian for a unification fight. Mikaelian arguably won against a prime Briedis in 2018.

Only 30-45 minutes of padding until the ringwalks, almost there boys.

The style matchup in the exchanges. Briedis short powerful inside rallies. Brutal risky for Jai with wide punching technique.

Boxing is just a young man's game.
