Complete hypothetical, I know, but how do you see a Fury-AJ fight now

Both men have fought Usyk, Fury clearly doing better than AJ but it doesn’t mean much as a barometer.

Push comes to shove, I’d probably still back Fury to win but it wouldn’t shock me if Joshua took him out early. He has the power and Fury has accumulated a lot of damage and hard KDs since the first Wilder fight.

Even if Fury had won, I wouldn't back him against Joshua now and that's a 180 from my view three and four years ago. Joshua's athleticism having looked after himself would pay dividends now. Joshua would definitely land and Fury wouldn't come through that.

Still what I always expected, a Joshua KO win.

As soon as Joshua takes a decent 1-2 and Fury throws a few feints he shells up. Fury will beat him.

Bottle, above everything else, won that for Usyk. Joshua is lacking in that department.

Fury has taken to much damage throughout his career, I think he’ll retire now..

Going back to the 2018-2019 days I've always thought Joshua would give Fury all he could handle, moreso than Wilder. And given everything we've seen, from him running close by Ngannou, to him losing to and being badly hurt by Usyk (more than Joshua ever was in their two fights) I'd confidently pick Joshua if the fight happened this year.
It'd be a competitive fight and AJ would struggle to find the mark but once he did I don't think Fury would be able to take the power.

Joshua fights at a pace that is perfect for Fury to be effective. Joshua has the power to hurt Fury but he's just too stationary imo. Fury would land a few good shots and Joshua will shell up

Fury is clearly the better boxer but his chin is glass and for me Joshua is the hardest puncher in the division not Wilder.

it all comes down to whether Fury’s freakish powers of recovery work again against a super heavyweight puncher.

Nah, this version of Fury still beats AJ. Fury couldn't deal with Usyk's speed and use of angles, where as AJ is fairly one dimensional and moves in straight lines. Hits harder, yes, but Fury's ring IQ would still be too much for AJ.

Lets be honest, we're never seeing the fight though.

Simply a Wooden Spoon contest meaning as much now as when Brook beat Khan.

Over 5 years too late and the only point now is loot generation.

If Fury is on the verge of being sent to the shadow realm by a middleweight, there will be glass everywhere if he gets touched by Joshua.
