Incredible stuff from Usyk. The way he turned things around near the end of round 7, and into round 8 was extraordinary.

Outstanding and well deserved victory for Oleksandr.

The greatest fights have an ebb and flow, like Ali v Frazier or Bowe v Holyfield. This was no different.

You've accused me of this before, but I assure you once again it's not so. I thought Fury was the best heavyweight in the world going in, and I further though the clash of styles would favor Fury. I was obviously wrong on both counts. But I thoroughly enjoyed the fight, one which exceeded my lofty expectations, and I enjoyed watching Usyk dig deep and expertly turn it up a gear. I likewise always enjoy watching boxing history unfold before my eyes. It was a wonderful fight and Usyk sure proved me wrong while making a huge statement under the big spotlight.

    He was simply marvelous.

    I loved the fight!

    Good summary Rummy!

As noted there were swing rounds - I had it 116-111, and feel a draw in rounds was the best Fury could have hoped for.

Usyk's investment in the body rounds 1-3 really paid off in the mid rounds, where Fury was noticably starting to tire, and this allowed Usyk to make his adjustments in round 7 and push the pace further

Yes both men made an investment in the body, but Usyk's body work clearly paid more dividends later in the fight. While Fury's body shots hurt Usyk more in the moment, Usyk's body shots didn't garner a reaction in the moment from Fury, but clearly had an effect down the stretch, as Fury's vitality was affected to a significant degree by the body work from Usyk, as a result Fury was unable to be as creative on the ropes. A lot of Usyk's body shots were jabs to the body, whereas Tyson was landing hooks and even uppercuts to the body. I kept saying that it would be smart for Usyk to target the body due to how crafty Fury can be at evading shots with his upper body. You know what they say, the head can move but the body can't. Tyson also is a big target and Usyk being the smaller man had an eaiser time targetting Tyson's body. Usyk essentially chopped down a tree, by working the body of the much larger man, and getting the larger man to slow down, then having an easier time landing shots to the head which injured Fury and changed the trajectory of the match.

Great video, well done. I had it 115-113 but that’s because I gave the third round a draw. I was going to give it to Fury then everyone else I was watching with was giving it to Usyk.
Really enjoyed the fight. I always said if Fury backs off rather than aim to hold the centre of the ring then Usyk will get to him. Questionable tactics by Fury and his punch resistance is utterly shot.

Usyk was amazing and the most deserved undisputed heavyweight champion. He is also the lineal as well. He truly is the man. I hope he retires after the re-match and enjoys his well earned money.

I agree with this, fury didn't seem to be able to defend against the body blows as early as the first it definitely paid off in the latter rounds, seeing fury stagger around the ring was a suprise to me
