Train with a cat like Balboa did with a chicken. Lol

...but all would be unuseful. Usyk will rewatch well the fight and in the rematch he wont make enter neither one of the uppercuts landed by Fury that sometimes put him in trouble.

Not throw bombs, high volume output, concentrate on winning rounds, not a ko. Go all calzaghe on him. Punches in bunches, speed not power, he wound up his shots too much and mostly landed on gloves.

He had better succes going forward. So do that most of the fight. Keep your guard up when going back so to not get tagged with big shots. Keep spamming bodyshots and move when against the ropes.

    Usyks pressure, power and accuracy.

The myth that he is feather fisted has to die. Like Manny he is consistently fighting and hurting the best, stoppage or not.

He hurt Fury worse than Wilder.

In what world do people think the B-side would get the rub of the green when it is likely that Fury's team got the judges and ref they wanted.

Also don't balloon up in weight now and put 3 or 4 stone or more on before his next camp starts. Keep working on his cardio so he can fight at a high tempo for longer periods of the fight

I have serious doubts about what Fury's body is capable of and can endure, these days and similarly there's every chance Usyk figures his changes out and cracks him out of there.

But clearly he has to try and replicate the changes he made for Wilder II. Come in fit, strong, heavy and aggressive. Go forward and put it on him.

I just don't think he's got enough left in the tank and he's getting decked in most fights these days. I even think AJ might stop him these days.

In short, I think the Fury from Wilder II would have got the job done, but I don't think that version of Fury can be brought back at this late juncture in his career.

That's a good point. During some of those early/middle rounds, Fury seemed to befuddle Usyk at times and to make him miss. But Usyk adjusted and adapted masterfully, and quietly, relentlessly kept coming at him. Usky's like The Borg from the '90s Star Trek. :)

    This is it
Or at least mix it up more

Needs to start aggressive, take more risks
Not saying he would be favourite in a rematch, but it still intruiges me

I think Fury gave it his everything, he is having a hard time reconciling with the fact it just wasn't good enough. The deluded, indenial post fight reaction is clearly showing this is his Ronda Rousey Holly Holmes melt down.

Oh I fully agree -- if anyone can make Fury (or anyone) pay for a balls-out aggressive strategy, it would be Usyk; he just finds a way to get punches into the opponent's face, and rapidly ... and repeatedly.

What I'm saying is that in rounds 11 and 12 Fury had little choice but to try his bullying Wilder-fight strategy ... and if daddy John was telling him otherwise, well, that was being optimistic to put it politely.

Don't fight on the backfoot for 90% of the fight. It's the worst tactic possible against Usyk. Stand your ground more, push Usyk back at times.

Agree. Fury isn’t going to outbox Usyk. He needs to try for a stoppage in the first 6 rounds.
