Lewis - and he would make it look surprisingly easy.

Yeah, Lewis. Lewis would have spanked Fury to bare knuckle Boxing.

Lewis was a big puncher the punches Fury landed on Usyk if Lewis was landing those punches especially uppercut which Lewis was famed for then Usyk would've been in some trouble.

The Fury fight hasn't changed my mind Lewis still wins for me.

    Usyk.

Lewis went 24 rounds with the easy to hit Holyfield. Usyk’s stamina and footwork would be too much for Lewis who never stepped foot inside the ring with a good southpaw. Bad matchup for him but I know his fans would disagree

Holyfield wasn't that easy to hit. If a Fury uppercut busted Usyk's jaw what do you think a Lewis one could potentially do.

Lewis likely wouldn't need more success than Fury was having with how much harder he hit. Especially some of the uppercuts Fury landed.

Holyfield wasn't that easy to hit. But, let's say he was. He was extremely durable. Is Usyk at that level? Because you cannot be getting hit flush by uppercuts if you're up against Lewis, unless you're a Holyfield, a Mercer, a McCall. Absent that level of durability, that's gonna be a real issue.

“Potentially” you could say that for any big puncher. Usyk wasn’t even dropped in the fight. Bottom line is, Lewis never fought anyone with Usyk’s footwork. He also never fought a good southpaw. He also never faced anyone with Usyk’s stamina. Lewis looked great banging out muscle bound brawlers of the 90s like Briggs, Morrison, Bruno. But what master boxer did he take out, or ever even fight? Holyfield was probably the best one, and his footwork and defense is primitive to Usyk’s and he twice took him the distance. Mercer a straight line fighter if he had better stamina he beats Lewis clean.
Lewis didn’t fight many diverse styles. To pick him has more to do with being a fan of his rather than any stylistic evidence.

At heavyweight, Usyk hasn’t fought many diverse styles (and has been significantly challenged by the one guy he fought there with anything one could call boxing ability). To pick him has more to do with being a fan of his rather than any stylistic evidence.

Agreed. The uppercut wins this for Lewis.

Usyk is harder to hit cleanly than Holyfield.
