Is it fair to say Usyk owns UK ? Bellew, Chisora, AJ twice, Dubois and now Fury. Is this the best UK has to offer. Have in mind he was against the ref and the judges in every single one of this fights as well.
Just watching their entrance. Got to give Fury credits though. His entrance was a once in a lifetime. I love the song they picked - Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out for a Hero. Watching it again though i can tell you 100% that Fury was scared of Usyk. He was acting out of character. When he was hurt he was trying to act tough, just like AJ in the second fight.
Yeah alongside the USA proxy, most corrupt lobby in the history of this sport. Other than that i love UK people, as i have worked with quite a few. I'm C++ and Java Developer, so i'm working with all kind of nationatility. But to be fair the young British generation has absolutely nothing to do with the old ones.
To be honest when he first leaned into the ropes for one instant I thought that Fury was just showboating and not actually hurt, then I realized he was in really deep, deep trouble and started shouting out loud. It's a pity that Usyk got that big shot in with less than a minute left in rd 9. Just 30 seconds earlier and Fury would have surely been stopped there.
I don't know, 6-7 times. But it surely be more. What a beautiful sight it was. Justice being served for everything that has been going on for over two years. All the insults, the lying, the gaslighting, the ducking, the stalling of the division, the aging out of Usyk... It was payback time and it was so satisfying to see that big bald head being pummelled like that.
I watched the fight with some Mrxican-American friends and fellow boxing enthusiasts. They call Fury "El Payaso".
It's one of the rounds you'll never forget, that's for sure. Had Usyk had enough time after the count, one more good shot could have put Fury into Trevor Berbick mode...
Yup Furys entrance didn't seem that genuine. I don't think he looked that comfortable in it tbh. Not like his entrance against Whyte. Usyk much better entrance. I think Fury knew Usyk was not intimidated by him and he was not getting in his head like he does most opponent.
Its so bitter sweet, because he was so, so close to stopping him. Had he just had a little more time in the round.
Cool, That is a good name your cool vato friends gave Fury, he did act like a clown in the first part of the fight when he should have been fighting instead holding onto the ropes and moving his bald cabeza, sticking out his tongue at Usyk. Ha Ha.
