I don't think being 6'8" is all that ideal for a boxer, though...

    It brings advantages and disadvantages.

Fury is talented. When in shape, he's very mobile and agile for a man his size.

He is a smart boxer and can take advantage of his size.

    He has heart.

All that wasn't enough though. He ran into a fighter just a little better and more determined than himself.

    1. You're not understanding. Impulse control and discipline are skills. They're skills Fury doesn't have, hence, he lost because of his lack of skills and Usyk won because of his skills.

    2. That's not even close to a fact, why're you being so silly  swear you're a sensible poster. Fury lost because he gassed later in the rounds. So saying it's a fact that Fury being super active in Round 1 guarantees a victory is short sighted. He could do, or he could have gassed even earlier and got KTFO in round 9.

Also you're overstating Fury's showboating and acting like Fury wasn't feeling out Usyk in Round 1. It's not like he decided to give up a round, he was setting up his fight

Mobile, talented... but ultimately not very coordinated. Not very good on the inside, either.

In any sense, he is an anomaly. You can't expect everyone his size to do what he does. He's 1 of 1, love him or hate him.

I think some of that ungainliness just comes from his height and body proportions.

He looks goofy fighting on the inside where his long arms and.body are disadvantages.

When he gets tired or.hurt, the coordination he has goes out the window.

He sometimes reminds me of that old saying...it's not that the giraffe can dance well, it that it can dance at all.

If his career ends tomorrow, I'll say I wished he would have fought more and talked less.

Maybe but i, for one, am delighted that Fury ended Wlad's boring and dirty title reign.

I think most who picked Fury have to acknowledge and have acknowledged they where wrong

I always said I would credit the better man and I have to do that

I don't particularly like Aj, but I'm always honest with my opinions and I think Fury best steer clear,or he gets flattened

Agreed he had flashes and looked to be dominating at points. Still trying to figure out what '******ed' is in your post. Thought it was 'deluded' at first but that wouldn't have been censored. Sh!tfaced'?

Yes, and despite what's being out about by the Fury haters, Usyk was 'just a little better', it was a very close contest.

Yes. I think Usyk decisively edged it but it was close.

It was a competitive fight until the end.

Fury has made a career out of using his height and reach, Usyk really struggled in the mid rounds to get past Fury`s long, fast jab.

If Fury has Usyk's discipline, you're looking at the best heavyweight ever.. by a distance.

Usyk is more talented and has greater ring IQ than Fury and it's not even close.

Fury has a massive size and reach advantage over Usyk and he fought well. But the fact that the much smaller man won logically tells you that the smaller man has more talent because he is fighting at a physical disadvantage.
