I gave Usyk the 3rd that's the only round I disagree with.

 

I thought Usyk won convincingly but then again I was about 8 pints in by the time it finally started so will have to rewatch.

I had it 7 rounds to Usyk, 4 to Fury with 1 even. I thought it was a competitive fight but not a close one. Yes Fury gained control through 4,5,6 and 7 but Usyk made him work hard for those rounds and the work rate needed to win them hit Fury very hard in 8 and especially 9

The production values on these shows is crazy.

Pride FC held the crown for years when it comes to production but the Saudis are taking it to another level.

 

Watched it again without wine and tension, dont know how i saw the first 2 as either ways seemed clear to usyk this time, 3 more debateable. Just goes to show even a boxing legend like myself can make mistakes

 

Think I typed this in round 8. I've never seen a fighter as good as Usyk down the stretch. It's like he's spent 8 rounds gathering info then unlocks a secret level and turns into a beast.

 

Great fight! Well done to both fighters. Wouldn’t mind seeing that again.

 

On a slightly different note, one thousand thick UFC fans on twitter genuinely believe that the slow lumbering fat lesbian Brock Lesnar would batter Usyk in a street fight.

What an incredible fight. Amazing for a big fight to deliver in such spectacular style for once.

Despite this coming late I thought both men showed up in great shape and performed to an incredible standard. Usyk deserved winner but Fury deserves huge credit too for his performance. Well up for seeing the rematch.

What an incredible fighter Usyk is. Represents everything great about this sport, we are very lucky to have witnessed his career.
