He also happens to be a cultural icon, which has more to do with Pac's endorsements than anything else.

Biggest paid athlete endorser the world over? I find that hard to believe.

In any case, you're overlooking the simple fact that charisma supersedes winning. Look no further than the biggest draw in boxing, Oscar De La Hoya. He's lost all of the biggest fights he's ever been involved in, and yet, he's still the biggest draw in all of boxing.

Golota's popularity has far surpassed the test of time. Love him or hate him, he puts asses in the seats. People want to watch to see what will happen, and he still probably has the skills to compete with some of today's champions, despite being some 10+ years removed from his prime.

Say what you will about Golota, but for a man who moved to America with the modest goal of becoming a truck driver, he's done pretty ****ing well for himself.

    GO GOLOTA!!!

You didn't say the world over, but you never qualified your comment, half-wit! As such, your isinuation was exactly as I mentioned.

You said: I hate to bring up Pac, but he is the biggest paid athlete endorser. Why? Because he is a winner. And everybody loves a winner.

You never limited this to the Phillipines. Regardless, as I've already illustrated, your logic is flawed, else Oscar De La Hoya would have stopped being a huge draw long ago, forget the fact he remains, to this day, the BIGGEST draw in all the sport.

I never referred to Golota as being a cultural icon. I was referring to Pac Man, who is undoubtedly a very popular man in the Phillipines on the basis of his ethnicity!

Golota is popular amongst Poles, no doubt, but he's also popular in general because of his charisma. Just ask guys like Hoax who have no Polish blood in them, whatever.

What the **** are you talking about, jack-ass?

Only if you're a shallow-minded half-wit who overlooks the real point!

That being, it ISN'T just about winning as you said, you friggin' moron.

Again, you illustrate your stupidity in all its glory for all to see!

You really don't understand the meaning of words like "charisma" and "marketability" all too well, do you?

Your own pestering presence in this thread further amplifies my point while simultaneously belittling your "own" (which is a stretch, because you never had an actual point in the first place).

When Golota fought Byrd and Ruiz fought Oquendo, which was the featured bout?

Likewise, when Golota fought Ruiz and Byrd fought McCline, which was the featured bout?

NOTE--it was a challenger who was featured on each occassion, not the champion.

Why the **** do you keep going on with this bull**** line of thought?
