I’m starting a boxing management in Uganda, East Africa. Started boxing last year but haven’t danced in the ring yet officially. Any advice.

Hey welcome boxing trainer, my question is about peds and contracts, did you ever see a fighter super energized all the time, but showed up for a big fight like he was sedated? I m not pointing fingers but it looked like fighter against "A side" was drugged. I don't want to raise havoc, but I am just asking a serious question because the sport seems to be riddled of this. Thank you in advance.

Ps I read what Mosley said his best guesses of what are the signs of a boxer using peds. And also I've heard it's easier to consume peds in the amateurs, is there any truth to this? Thanks again.

The man that started this thread was a close personal friend of mine and he passed away over three years ago and, before that, he was incapacitated by a stroke in 2017, almost 7 years to the day in fact.

If you read through the thread, you will learn a lot. He took great pride in how many pages it ran.
He opened up many doors for me in the boxing world, he was very well thought of across the board. If I can answer any questions for you I will.

True. I would recommend him getting around the sport. Maybe go to the amateur/pro shows and find somebody in the game, who knows the game, and will 'mentor' you.

You can't learn this sport from any book.

    My reputation precedes me.

I wipe my poop messed anus with boxing scene, their new rulers suck anus and can suck mine.

BS is essentially a bunch of sheet throwing know nothings.

There were a few good guys in there doe, but only a few.

You and I interacted there several times many years ago and I have always had a lot of respect for you and your knowledge.
This training board used to be active years ago, it would be good to revive it.

Thank you for the compliment. You were obviously not a sheet thrower.

With the training, I did it for many years and loved it.

Tell the guys to bring their questions, I'll share what I've learned.

Did you know that I took and passed my written test to start judging the pros many years agp.

But then I popped out a stroke, it kinda slowed me down and I just forgot about it.

I'm going to look in to becoming a judge with the pros again.

I'll go back and judge the Ams too.

No more reffin' doe. Man, I loved that sheet.

    This sport gives me life.

Honest to God, I think that you are the first person that I exchanged pms with on a boxing website, going back to 2012, 2011.
I would pop into that other site from time to time and read that you had a stroke. Personally, I'm about 2 weeks from my 50th anniversary of spending all my time in boxing gyms and I am looking forward to talking boxing with you again. @Pat M and @Journeyman92 are good people on here. Pat has years in teaching boxing and Journeyman is learning fast; he will ask you some good questions.

A former world champion personally told me that Don King ripped him of a couple hundred thousand dollars.

I've never once heard a fighter speak well of Don King.

What was your cut of the fighters purse, generally.
