Gut feeling but I think Usyk gives him fits. Lewis never fought a southpaw to my knowledge (except one very early in his career who simply wasn't much chops) and imo wouldn't know how to approach him. I think Lewis would eventually adjust but he might need two fights to settle the deal.
I think Lewis avoided south paws for a reason. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. That being said I think Lewis is more an animal than AJ. He would eventually stun Usyk and I don’t think he would let off him after. Both Fury and AJ had him stunned at points but they didn’t have the stamina to hurt him bad. When Lewis smelled blood he was on another level.
I've never seen people get so much mileage out of single punches. Usyk can't beat X because a 35 year old Usyk got hit by a single power shot by AJ, that didn't seem to do much damage. Usyk can't beat X because a 36 year old Usyk got hit by a single low shot by Dubois. Usyk can't beat Lewis because a 37 year old Usyk got hit by a single uppercut that didn't seem to hurt him very much at all. Why has the quality of argumentation been so bad recently? Usyk is getting absolutely zero benefit of the doubt in matchups and is actually being punished despite the fact he's still undefeated that he's not even in his prime in these instances. "Usyk beats Lewis easily. He couldn't even beat an out of prime roided up Light Heavyweight in Holyfield". "Usyk beats Lewis easily. He lost to McCall, who sucks".
Lewis. Usyk is great, but this match would be very unfavourable for him. I think Lennox hits too hard and this would bring things to a conclusion sooner rather than later.
