Fair enough but he’s been at it 2.5 years. Photoshopping himself onto pictures holding all the belts and getting his local MP to ring the police. He’s a bad grass.

Being a Preston lad myself and Chorley (PR Postcode) is only minutes down the road, I'll be cheering and hoping for a Jack Catterall victory this weekend.

Deserves the win after the disgusting robbery in the 1st fight.

Taylor comes from Prestonpans which is a grim little town renowned for neds just like himself.

And I think a lot of casuals are about to find out Catterall is the boxing equivalent of St Pauli. A noble cause you might tell your mates about despite never seeing them in action, but then you realise they're just a workmanlike football team that will get found out at the top level ;)

Odd thing to say when he was robbed of undisputed title, Bob. Wasn't that excelling at top level?

Very slick technically superb defensive fighter mate. Very underrated. Will be interesting.

I find it a bit odd tbh mate I like certain boxers and have a bit of fun but at the end of the day I'm a boxing fan. So many people driven by emotion jack caterall had to go back to making tools after being blatantly shafted against Taylor. Blokes been part of the who wants him club for years. Even Warren struggled to get anyone to face him. He's more defensive now but he used to be allot more offensive in the early days.

    May the best man win.

Fair comment William. At the time of that fight, yes. I'm just not sure Catterall (or indeed Taylor) are current championship level. I guess we'll never know now if any version of Catterall could have similarly beaten the WBSS-winning peak Taylor.

My feelings on St Pauli as the fashionable team nobody watches, still hold :) My boss has their logo on his laptop cover and couldn't tell you where they play.

Well I watched him a lot early doors but his match making bored me to death so I don’t think I watched him since the Gethin fight. Assumed he wasn’t any good really. Rated and liked Taylor so I thought he’d beat Caterall but after a round or two was supporting Caterall. I thought he boxed superbly, proper boxing hit and not be hit. Was surprised by the reaction of many on here making out he just held all night.

He definitely didn’t  he’s been living it up in Dubai for half of the time and got paid a handsome signing on fee to sign with Probellum a week after the Taylor loss.

Enough for him to spend half the year in Dubai.

Does he have a wee flat in Dubai, ash? I'm not aware of this stuff. You mentioned Probellum. Maybe the flat was getting paid for by Kinny Kinny?
