Because my friend your logic is flawed.

Ingemar Johansson and Buster Douglas were undisputed Champions no one considers them ATGs.

Buster Douglas rates highly H2H at his best and many people think a Tokyo version of Douglas would beat some ATGs but yet no one considers Douglas an actual ATG.

H2H ability is opinion based you have to actually have a strong resume aswell to back up ATG credentials which Fury clearly doesn't have.

I don't see why you can't grasp that in all honesty.

Douglas does not rate highly H2H what are you talking about lol. The closest comparison to Fury is Riddick Bowe. Would you consider Riddick Bowe an ATG?

Watch the above Terrell fight with Ali. Terrell makes AJ look like Pernell Whittaker. His footwork is some of the worst I’ve seen. Like I said, he moves like it’s the first time he is in a boxing gym learning how to hold his hands up whilst moving backwards and forwards. Terrell absolutely is a stiff and is straight up not on the level of AJ.

And also, Terrell was a skinny guy, his fight with Ali was his heaviest he had been at the time. He usually fought below 200lbs. And if you look at that video, Terrell does not look 6 foot 6, he looks at best 6ft 4.

The size comparison between Ali Vs Terrell and Fury Vs Usyk is just not the same at all.

And again, you’re not understanding or reading what I’m saying , it’s not just height it’s size. Height/Reach/weight are components of size. Having significant size advantage over a fighter is a significant advantage. Of course if you are a big guy and there’s a big skill gap, the smaller guy will have the better chance.

Fury is way slicker, faster, better mover and even a better puncher than Terrell (who had 40% KO ratio)

Did you even watch Bugners fight against Ali? He’s got fast punches, but he has absolutely zero head movement, guy was a sitting duck for straight punches.

Again, Bugner was 1 inches taller and had a tiny weight advantage over Ali. This does not compare in anyway to the 6 inch height/reach advantage Fury and the 40lb weight advantage.

The point still stands Ali never beat a guy significantly bigger in size than him, especially someone with a lot of skill (and slickness/Defense).

I’m happy in saying I don’t know who would have won between Ali and Usyk. Usyk would have given Ali one of his toughest fights that’s for sure. I think the only one who feels threatened is the guy who is doing all his best to defend his popularised hero. The guy who is doing all his best to convince that Ali beat a skilled oppponent with a significant size advantage, when that factually didn’t happen

They can't grasp that because Tyson Fury and Usyk fanboys are delusional.

You you imagine somebody saying Leon Spinks was a ATG because he beat a old Ali? But apparently Tyson Fury is a legend because he beat a old Wladimir Klitschko and didn't even look good doing it.

Which means Usyk beating Tyson Fury proves nothing because Fury was never anything more than a media made hype job.

The same could be said here, Terrell used plenty of side to side/ back and forth movement against George Chuvalo and he had decent hand speed himself. Terrell was basic and kept his chin tucked, not a stiff plodder, no less than aj is. He could be light on his feet, Ali just made him look stiff. Terrell was never below 200 against Ali, I don't think anyway

imo Reach, speed, power, and chin are the more significant physical factors at heavyweight, and in any particular weight class. Weight matters but Fury wasn't even trying to use his weight against Usyk. Ali had great stamina and could clinch well, Foreman was incredibly strong for his size, ask Holyfield who fought 90s SHWs and an older past it Foreman. Foreman was lifting cows on his back ffs.

You have too many examples of significantly smaller fighters being competitive and beating larger guys, even large skilled heavyweights for me to think Fury is beating a top 5 ATG when Fury himself has had a host of bad displays, and has been tagged, hurt and wobbled several times, even by guys who aren't big punchers.

Its you trying to create a narrative that Fury would beat Ali, nobody said it wouldn't be a hard fight. Its impossible to know, Usyk would have been a tough fight for sure, but Fury probably gets knocked out. We can get a clue how he would have fought Fury by looking at how he approached taller, longer guys. He was quite aggressive against Bugner and still maintained his head movement on the front foot, and he would outmaneuver Fury if he was getting walked down, Fury was getting outboxed by Cunningham and admitted he it was a tough fight because of Steves mobility

You are right that its not a completely fair comparison but nowadays fight fan's are so fickle, some were saying windmill wilder was an ATG because him and Fury had a few fights and shared some knock-downs and when wilder got beat by parker suddenly Parker is a top three fighter, fury beat Klitschko and was being compared with Ali, Zhang beat Joyce he's suddenly a bogie man that the tops guys are afraid of, I could go on and on with these examples so usyk beating Fury doesn't elevate him to Ali status because the opponent he beat was a smoke and mirrors fraud. Fury can box for a big guy but he's not as elusive as some would claim which is why usyk was able to punch him all over the ring, definitely a great win for Usyk because he did what a lot of us fans wanted him to do which is to humble fury. Despite that he's not at Ali's level yet.

    In my opinion

Hard to say. Ali is faster of feet and speed than Usyk. By a lot. You talk about Usyk's grit and chin. Hmm, do you know about Muhammad Ali's chin and grit? Cause it's legendary. I want to see past his prime Usyk taking the body shots Ali took from Foreman

I'd say Usyk could beat Ali the way Joe Frazier beat Ali in 1971 -- a relentless assault, getting in under the taller guy's jab....

In fact I see parallels between Fury-Usyk and Ali-Frazier: a late-round knockdown against the bigger guy, a close fight going to the cards, both fighters badly bruised after having emptied the tank and left it all out on the field/canvas.... Let's see how Fury-Usyk 2 plays out... and if there's a Fury-Usyk 3....

I posted this before. Ali was indeed bigger than the great majority of his opponents and all his loses were to "the smaller men".

Usyk isn't stopping prime Ali and a boxing match is a coin flip. Ali wins 3 times out of 4.

Why compare the skills of a man 57 years ago? Which is insane considering Ali's style holds up well all these years later.

Usyk has beaten Fury and Joshua, who I don't rate to any level of Ali at all, but a tricky southpaw HW can beat any ATG from the past, as they were just not common.
