Counting on Taylor to turn up this weekend and remind everyone of how good he actually is - hoping so any how.

Did anyone watch the BBC documentary which followed Taylor in the lead up to the first Catterall fight? You can see he's absolutely miles off it and done the weight terribly. The camera also catches him after a sparring session saying he feels horrible.

The Lopez fight he said his legs weren't with him from the 4th round onwards which ties into the bad (and it was a bad one) foot injury he had which obviously had a big impact on his preparation.

Hopefully he can put that all behind him heading into this rematch and perform like we've seen him do in the past hence him formally being undisputed.

Just been given a ticket so hoping Eddie/Matchroom ensure a early start time so us going to Wembley early the following morning get a decent amount of kip…

Not a word spoken between them today at the presser/face off.

Grim viewing that mate. When he was wrapped in towels on the floor and had to be helped up.

I've just seen him and he looks quite frail tbh, although the below tweet did make me laugh.

    Agreed.

He did Josh (and himself tbf) a favour stepping aside, then comfortably beat Taylor, and understandably clamoured for the rematch. One of the biggest robberies I’ve seen.

Yes he’s not a killer, he’s not the most exciting fighter, but he’s a good, honest pro and seems a decent guy to me unless I’ve missed something.

Taylor on the other hand is an arrogant *****, however in his pomp he was a step above.Had Taylor shown even a modicum of grace post fight and accepted he got away with one, he’d have a lot more support.

Im going to this on Saturday and can’t wait. I hope Catterall wins being a Manchester boy myself, and I think he does as Taylor cannot make 140 easily any more at all.

Having said all this, if Taylor does win and shows us a performance more reminiscent of his prime years, then we have a fighter we can look forward to again.

I've actually got one in the loft that I bought at a car boot sale in about 1999! Can't play it, though.

Joe McNally saying Taylor could make 135lbs. Have a day off Joe. He looked absolutely drained today and he’ll still have a couple more pounds to take off. Reckon that’s why he’s got fake tan on, so he doesn’t look so gaunt.

You're joking, Ash. He's wearing fake tan, is he? Maybe it's something I've not noticed before but I can't remember a boxer doing that. At least not that springs to mind. He looks quite tanned in that photo above if that's recent, but it doesn't look fake.

Looks it mate, looked really bad the other day and looked to be some on his t shirt.

I know for a fact Bellew used to get a spray tan before fights. He trained in my hometown and would go in the sun bed shop in my village.

It makes me wonder why they don't just do a few sessions on a sunbed to get rid of the pasty look.
