It depends on what they are eating. Burgers, Bowe blows him out of there although if it's a chips-heavy meal Fury may hang in there longer than expected. But if they hit the fish and chips with mushy peas Bowe is in trouble. Not sure he can handle the starch load.

    LMAO.

Eddie Futch said Bowe could, “eat this world, if allowed.” & before anyone says Futch was biased or never saw Fury, it should be made clear he was doing anything but praising Bowe.

I predict this fight ends in a NC after both men fall to the floor from cramps after eating too much.

If we’re taking the Riddick Bowe of 1992 who had Futch in his corner and was in great shape and hungry vs the Fury who beat Wlad in 2015 then I’d favor Bowe.

The absolute peak forms of both (Bowe from Bowe/Holy I) and (Fury from Fury/Wlad), I'd take Bowe and believe he could stop Fury.

I'll say it like this though, over the course of their careers Fury would beat Bowe at far more points, but if we're talking about absolute peaks............

Yeah because the guy that fought only 3 ranked opponents in 14 years (only Deontay Wilder the biggest name on his resume has a worse resume) then lost to an mma fighter then lost to a middleweight is a lot better

No he's not "better"...........................but somehow and oddly, we're running up against one of the only elite HW's that Fury was actually more consistent than in Bowe. Bowe is strange in that most of his peak was prior to even winning the title.

I'm gonna pick consistency over inconsistent usually

Yeah but Bowe was fighting ranked opponents. You're leaving out that part.

Bowe,as he was in his first bout with Evander Holyfield, convincingly outpoints Fury. I would give Tyson a shot at an upset if Riddick is in anything else than optimum shape though.

I am done with the "Bowe was great but..." narrative.

Sure Bowe had great potential, had a brief phase when he looked like he was going to be a great champ ... and that was it. He is not some kind of unrealized ATG. The history of boxing is full of guys with great potential who were just a flash in the pan because lacked what was required to be greats. Such is the case of Bowe.

I agree peak vs peak Bowe beats Fury. But in other scenarios Fury, as mediocre as he is, probably has the upper hand.

    Footwork fight.

Bowe is not going to be looking his best against a tall opponent like this who moved his feet. Bowe looks best with smaller guys right in front of him. But his plodding footwork and steinway piano legs after like 4 rounds of effort would see him 1 or 2 steps behind this guy & drop a decision. Hardly an optimal opponent.

    Power Bowe
    Handspeed Fury
    Chin Fury
    Stamina Bowe
    Footwork Fury
    Technique Bowe
    Combinations Bowe
    Timing Fury
    Accuracy Bowe
    Ring IQ Fury
    Heart Even

5-1-5 no major advantage for either guy.

Both were so inconsistent and didn't fulfill their potential, but peak Bowe might've been slightly better overall. Gun to my head, Bowe just barely manages a close decision win with a potential knockdown being the deciding factor.
