If you don't know you might want to do some research on what you are commenting on first.

That's it .he's fought 5 times in the heavyweight division and he's being called an all time great? That's comical to the point of requiring no comment.

Hes an ATG based on his Cruiserweight and Heavyweight resume but hes not an actual ATG at Heavyweight no.

Usyk has still beaten the two Heavyweights who are considered the number 2 and 3 of this era in Joshua, Fury, so that deserves alot or credit especially with the size difference.

But I agree that Usyk needs a few more filler wins to be regarded as an ATG at Heavyweight beating Parker, Wilder vs Zhang winner, or Hrgovic if he beats Dubois then I'd rate him as an ATG at Heavyweight.

Unfortunately time isn't on Usyk's side so I don't think he has enough time to achieve ATG status at Heavyweight.

I believe he deserves a high rating among ATG's, maybe top 20 or so, with his combined CW and HW undisputed achievements. He may get 2 or 3 more fights at HW which could put him into a top 15 or under at HW. At CW surely it's either he or Holyfield as best in that division, so considering him a CW GOAT isn't out of the question. But not a GOAT overall.

If he plans to fight till 40 there is definitly time. Its a huge risk though since he could get old overnight woth his style and get humiliated hy some guy he would have been beaten a few years ago.

Yeah I wouldn't want to see Usyk taking an L because hes too old I hate seeing fighters I root for losing to fighters they never would've lost to in their prime because of father time.

Comical if only using his heavyweight accomplishments or calling him an ATG HW. His entire resumes on the other hand, supports those claims.

He's the GOAT. Deal with it

All the CWs he beat would be HWs during the eras of most of the HW greats he's being compared and all the SHWs he fought in the WSB and most of the HWs he's fought in the pros are giants, and not the slug slow, uncoordinated low skill Frankenstein's monster behemoths variety of old.

Boxing's a global sport now not just the North American leagues and fighters from other parts of the world actually take boxing seriously and many are actually allowed to turn pro. Deal with that too

You heard me. Deal with it!

Chisora was robbed against current #3 J-Park in his very next fight after losing to Usyk, including dropping J-Park in the 1st round. He's also beat Pulev and one of The Dosser's best wins (albeit that ain't saying much) Gerald Washington since then too

I said heavyweight, and some are calling him an ATG heavyweight. Which is a joke

Exactly. Funny how those things work with some isn’t it?! Like Loma against Haney. “NAWWW he still prime!!” Lol He was 35  Unless someone has access to CERTAIN supplements and exemptions like Hopkins… you aren’t going to be at your best at 35!

Kinda like “Wlad was at his absolute best and fought his best fight against Joshua!! In the last fight of his career in a loss… it was really his best fight!”

:facepalm::facepalm: He was ****ing 41 coming off an almost two year layoff. FFS

It’s funny how some pick and choose carefully who’s prime is when.

Oleksandr is not only the GOAT boxer he's also the GOAT man. The former being a greater achievement.

If he lost a rematch it wouldn't count against him one tiny bit, changes nothing. It would help Fury a little bit...but nothing more.

Even though I love Usyk, I can't make a valid argument for him being the greatest heavyweight. If only he made the jump 5 years sooner and fought 2 times a year. Oh well, still a very impressive fighter.

Being the first and only Undipsuted Heavyweight in the four belt era and beating the consensus 2 best heavyweights on the way to it means he will be in the discussion based on the achievement alone - especially if he rematches and beats Fury again, after beating Joshua and Fury twice, who else would prove anything more in this era? He might have had more fights at heavy by now if Fury had got in the ring earlier!

You ain't looking how great someone is based on his last fight or last division he is. You look at the whole package and resume. European, World, Olympic Champion, won WSB, won WBSS, Won CW Undisputed, won Undisputed at HW.
Won every single title he has ever won it on his opponent backyard and away from home.

Ali was fighting LHW and CW his whole career, while also being a CW. Also Ali should have a couple of more loses to his record, and he was the name in the division, and never had to face a situation, where you have to win 8-9-10 rounds clearly in order to get a SD.

If Usyk had a few close fights, he would have been roobed.

Just want to remind something as well. Before the Ngannou fight. Fury was the H2H Goat. This was the narrative by 90% of the users on here. His fans also declared him as the GOAT of boxing.

    Again:
All the Boxing industry was in his job and pushed him to win
    Referee in his pocket
    Judges in his pocket
    40+ LBS advantage
    19 months younger
    19cm. reach
    16cm. height

And he got schooled and save by the referee. Lost clearly 9-3, and was gifted a SD loss.

Similar situation both time with AJ.

Remind me what Ali has done at 37,5 years old ?
Ali lost his first bout at 29 years old, then lost again at 31, against Norton, and then Ali won a very close fight that could have gone either way. The third fight though was a clear robbery.
At 36 years old Ali lost to a guy with 7 fights ....

And you can clearly discount his other 2 loses, as he was 38+.

Yeah looking just at their PRO record, hands and down Ali is the better fighter. Looking at their overall, when Usyk has won everything in the amateurs and had 335-15 amateur record, hm ....
