As I said in another thread Usyk is horrible style match up for him hes too mobile, too tricky. Toney likes to sit in the pocket and have fighters come towards him he wouldn't have success against Usyk's style. Usyk by UD.
Fat Toney was effective against big, dumb, strong and stationary guys with mediocre Boxing skills. That is literally the antithesis of Usyk. Usyk would win just about every round.
Toney was INCREDIBLE in the middleweight classes. Don't think he beats any high level, established cruisers, let alone the best Cruiserweight that ever lived.
I sure as hell wouldn’t count out the Toney who beat Jirov in this matchup. Toney might not have Usyk’s movement, but his defense was outstanding, as well as his punch selection.
Usyk is my pick… too mobile. Wouldn’t be surprised if Usyk gets rocked or even dropped in the process, but I’d expect him to win this one by decision… but with some shaky moments on the way.
