I don't think you can assume that every single 6'2 boxer adds exactly 1 inch to their height to skirt around every example of a 6'2 heavyweight ever existing. Pick a guy you reasonably believe to be 6'2. Thats Usyk's more realistic comparison, if you're going by evidence that Usyk is 6'2 which there is a lot of strong evidence for.

You are right about Foreman being weighed drained. Foreman weigehd 230 as a 19 year old amateur. He lost weight because it was just what peopel did doing that time frame.
Stating the obvious but no, I’m basing my observations on watching George boxing at that weight. He wasn’t as massively overweight as some pundits at the time made out but he was clearly carrying some excess. 245lb did not reflect the weight of a lean or shredded George Foreman (which is quite aside from whether it was a good FIGHTING weight for him).
Ultimately we’re never going to know exactly. My opinion/observation is that Usyk is over 6’2” and only slightly shorter than Foreman. Purely in terms of height, he simply is ‘Foreman sized’. “Frame” or natural weight is different of course, and probably more important.
Usyk was a light heavyweight at 21 years old and Moorer was a light heavyweight at 21 years old when he turned pro. They both moved up to heavyweight and bulked up to the 220's. Thats a much closer comparison than to George Foreman who turned pro at heavyweight and weighed 219 in his first professional fight.
Sure, 2nd career weights for Foreman were well above natural weight. I think the lightest he saw in his 2nd career was about 230 lbs vs Qawi. He did look svelte at that weight but afterward, I think he said he didn’t feel right at that weight - at least not at his current age and given his second career intents/purposes.
Yeah, the weight drain is puzzling but apparently recommended by his trainer. I’ve seen a poster advertising an exhibition bout between Foreman and Cleveland Williams in about 1970. Sure, not an actual fight but on the promo poster Foreman is listed as weighing 231 lbs vs the older Big Cat’s 228/229 lbs or so. Unfortunately I can’t find it atm, but there is also a photo out there of Foreman and Williams posing together in a promo photo as at that time of that exhibition - and Foreman doesn’t appear in any way overweight, IMO. Could be the angle/postures but George also looks to have at least a good 1” in height over Williams. It would be absolute GOLD if any of Foreman’s sessions vs Liston and/or Williams ever turned up.
I'm going by 6'2 and a half barefoot when he wakes up out of bed. And closer to 6'2 mid to late day as height will fluctuate in this pattern. Frame wise, no, I don't think you can compare him to Foreman. Thats just a different size bracket entirely.
Their's a caveat though. I was on ADHD medicine that greatly suppressed my appetite ever since I was 8 years old. I'd stopped taking it after I graduated high school and luckily my growth plates still hadn't grown (I have a theory that the pills and/or the lack of appetite delayed the closure of my growth plates), and I began to eat anything and everything in sight. Seems like my body was making up for years of lost food. Terrell was definitely not 6'6". You see him against the supposedly 6'2" Williams, and it's clear as day that theirs's not a four inch height difference.
Who gives a **** about tale of tapes. They aren't measuring the fighters for every fight, just getting the info from somewhere else.
