Pagan-Hilley was the better fight. By far.

The Franklin fight shows why you’ve got to take some journeymen seriously. They can still give you a rough night even while losing every round.

How he's dropped off since the AJ bout to this one is very significant.

 

That's why team Joyce should push for this fight. I think he can force a stoppage with volume and afterwards he can say he did better than AJ lol.

Franklin is also a soft puncher so there's no risk of a surprise KO.

If the fight were to happen I'm sure Franklin would turn up in far better shape for Joyce than he did for Vargas.

If Franklin is still serious about his career rather than just topping up cash, then he and his team really need to not take things for granted on assumed 'easy fights' and ALLWAYS take things seriously.

 

He is an arm puncher. If you play closer look to his footwork you will see that he doesn´t really engage his core or put his hips into the punches. He pushes off with his upper body instead of loading up the power from the feet.
