Fury picks Terrell apart without too much trouble, and wins a decision.

Ernie Terrell during a match liked to impose his will and weight over his opponents by engaging them into an ugly wrestling match, using his long gangling arms to tie up his opponents, this caused a degree of fatigue, especially to his smaller opponents. Tyson Fury like Muhammad Ali in Feb 1967 does not allow Terrell to use this strategy against him. Fury is much taller, has a better jab than Ernie does, and Fury can tag Terrell from different angles, frustrating the Octopuss as penned by Ali, into complete frustration. Fury using all of his technical skills stops a worn out Terrell in the 9th round.

Terrell had not power or assertiveness to gain Fury’s respect and he’d be too small besides

Lol um Terrell was 6'6 and Tyson Fury is 6'7. Yeah he is much taller. Tyson Fury has techinical skills? You mean throwing slapping arm punches and landing 20 percent of his punches or less in most of his fights? Even with the weight thing. Terrell was in shape. Fury is out of shape. If Fury boxed back in that time frame he would be lighter.

I believe Ernie Terrell fought at 212 lbs, but I sure do remember when Thad Spencer sure knocked poor Ernie on his rear during the WBA Tournament in 1967, Spencer won a 12 round decision, then was kayoed by Jerry Quarry on Feb 3 1968 in the 12 th round.

Lol what does what you typed just now have to do with you saying Tyson Fury was way taller than Terrell? Second Terrell fought light because everybody else did back then. Tyson Fury got knocked down by Nevin Pajkic a light puncher and Steve Cunningham a light punching natural 180 pound guy.

You are kind of like a perfect reverse barometer. If you want to know the truth, it is the exact opposite of what you said.

That poster should realize that Ernie Terrell was kayoed in 7 rounds by Cleveland Big Cat Williams in April 1962, then barely defeated Williams by a split decision in April 1963.

So you think Williams stops Fury in one fight then in a rematch, with damaged hands, takes him to a controversial SD?

@ThatOne Would you like to explain your vote for Terrell? Jacko is ****ing clueless so I'm not even going to bother with him.
