And was hugely under appreciated and maligned because of how much people love Ali.

FOTC Frazier stops Usyk over 15 rounds after dropping several rounds before he starts to "smoke". That Frazier was among the most finely tuned fighting machines of all time.

I understand the debate considering Frazier has been hit by much bigger punchers such as Buster Mathis and George Foreman however that doesn't take away from the fact that Smokin' Joe, while skilled in his own right, is quite limited in certain areas of the science of boxing.

He would be facing Usyk as a pressure fighter which is already a plus for him but with a significant speed disadvantage as well as an almost non-existent outside boxing ability. He hits harder especially with his famed left hook but without a way to consistently stay in the pocket he is ultimately left with little but a cross-armed guard to defend himself from punches. Usyk mixing head and body punches will leave Frazier open quite often and without enough points to secure rounds. He can use his pressure to go to the body first and then the head as he would knowing that Usyk is vulnerable to the body and yet because of Oleksandr's footwork and upper body movement I don't see Joe being in position often enough to score consistently.

Frazier's best option here is to constantly pressure Usyk making sneaky shots score in the clinch and digging through the guard until he lands a knockout punch. If he tries to mix in his own head movement it will take away from his momentum and leave him open to combinations.

I must say I do see Usyk getting knocked out in some cases when considering what would happen in a 10-fight series however that is not what would happen the majority of the time. Usyk wins 10 rounds in a 15-rounder and 8 in a 12-rounder.

Frazier Vs Usyk would be a great scrap.

Usyk's obviously gone up in my estimations since he's now acclimatised himself into the division.

However, we all know that styles makes fights and I think a good swarmer style is probably less suited to Usyk than other styles. Chisora had good success against Usyk as a crude swarmer so I'm pretty sure that a peak Frazier does it considerably better, and at a higher pace.

I could see a way for both men to win TBH.

I also feel that a peak Mike Tyson would be something of a nightmare for Usyk. I distinctly remember thinking straight after the Usyk- Chisora fight, that at the start of round 1, had we taken Chisora out and immediately dropped in a Peak Tyson before the first bell, then I'm sure peak Tyson would have won that particular fight.

Rather than Usyks current success at modern day heavyweight diminishing fighters capabilities of yesteryear, I think it's actually given them more credibility in this 'super heavyweight' era.

The super heavy is best myth has definitely declined.

What fighter has Usyk decapitated to make you think he could do that to the great Joe Frazier? One of the stupidest posts I have seen on here

The 5'11 would-be-Cruiserweight Frazier? Usyk has a good KO ratio at Cruiser, and almost got rid of 2 reigning SHW champs.

Let's be honest, Frazier would have a good scrap with Chisora. He's old hat. He wouldn't do well in today's era at all, and I'm pushing seventy years of age.

Somebody liked this so it came up but I take this back tbh, I think Usyk beats him, think he beats a lot of the top heavyweights too, the guy is special, could’ve hung in any era

I still think Frazier beats him the style to beat Usyk is pressure/swarming.

Chisora had some success with swarming but didn't have the gas tank over 12 rounds, Breidis gave Usyk a very competitive fight with effective pressure aswell.

Frazier/Tyson are ATG swarmers/pressure fighters who have the gas tank to fight a hard 12 rounds their style is probably the worst style match up for Usyk IMO.

I rate Usyk highly H2H and would even favour him over the likes of Joe Louis, but I truly believe the likes of Frazier and Tyson match up very well vs Usyk.

Frazier beat bigger fighters also he beat 6'4 Joe Bugner convincingly who weighed about the same as Usyk and also stopped 235 pound Buster Mathis.

I think people are forgetting how good Frazier was he was truly a great. Joshua and Fury are not greats despite their size.

This is one of the most difficult fights Usyk has ever had, YOU MUST watch this fight before commenting on how a fight would go with Frazier

After the Fury victory I have to say Usyk, pre-fury I would have had Frazier. Dude just adapts to anything.
