I first saw Rocky fight as an amateur on The USA vs the World in Amateur Boxing and loved his conditioning and grit ... as a pro he went on to have a terrific career, some serious victories, some robbery losses and some razor thin decision losses against all time great fighters ... his one punch KO of Mayweather was classic .. his super competitive battles with a fantastic and clever but very dirty Pedroza were televised and iconic .. he was perhaps the first man to give the prime, exceptional Chavez a real fight, he easily could and easily could have gotten the decision over Gomez. He beat a very tough Boza- Edwards, showed an exceptional chin in beating Knight ... the only time that chin gave out was in that lightning strike loss to LaPorte, a fighter I feel he defeats 9 out of ten under normal circumstances ... we all know his tragic descent and ending but curious to thoughts on his career.
