Damn, I never knew that about Dixon. I knew his was the 1st black to win a boxing championship. Thanks for the history lesson.

I didn't realize this match is at BMO Stadium in LA. That should be a fun atmosphere for a big time boxing event. It also has a stacked undercard.

I’d love to be wrong and for this to be a really good competitive fight, but I’ve watched a few of madrimovs fights since hearing about this match up…..and I just don’t see it being close at all. An easy Crawford victory, likely via KO around 6-9 rounds.

Cannot stop can you. You idolize Ginger, the King of Boxing. You Idolize Twink,!!!ROFL & yet you call Crawford a fraud & continually keep mentioning Antonio Margarito because Tony lives in your head He owns you ROFL. You know Tony beats the brakes off any of your other diva idols too like Fluffy Floyd. Tony owns Floyd too the boxing world has seen how terrified of Tony Floyd was. How embarrassing that was for Floyd .

If Crawford wins are people gonna say that Madrimov was not that good like they did after Crawford beat Porter and Spence ?

Unless Crawford gets caught with something big early, a possible though unlikely scenario given his ring IQ and anticipated focus for this fight, he'll gradually adapt to Madrimov's unorthodox approach and take over down the stretch.

Crawford by late KO/TKO or comfortable if competitive decision.

It's going to take a really special fighter to beat Crawford. Madrimov is good and will pose some problems for Crawford, but Crawford has one of the highest ring IQ's in boxing right now, and once he figures out Madrimov it's over.

I fully expect Crawford to win this and win well. Madrimov is a tough solid guy but I don't see how he can win.

Crawford is #1 or #2 in the world right now......this would be a bigger shock to me than Garcia Haney for sure.

Madrimov has the physical tools to win, but he's at a big disparity in ring IQ. He seems fixated on highlight reel shots and less willing to methodically break his opponent down.

I discarded Mikey after the Spence fight because it was clear Mikey was boxing purely for the money and was never going to do anything relevant in the sport again. Well, thats a lie. I discarded Mikey as soon as the fight was signed.

And, as you say, Madrimov isnt fignting prime Crawford. This is 37 yr old Crawford in his 4th weight not 28 yr old Bud in his 1st or 2nd weight class.

There's a reason there's never been a 3 weight undisputed and unified champion

Discarded is harsh but it would be pretty damning considering he’ll be the heavier and longer man.

I also discarded a fighter in that fight but it was Spence for me. Knew he was a joke for fighting conservatively against a blown up LW. Cheered like all hell when Crawford beat that boy down
