Both knockdowns are very unlikely to be landed on any actual boxer. The first knockdown Ngannou came in throws his shot and overreached he planted his feet and stayed in range with his jaw there like an ornament on a mantle piece, very few boxers would over commit like that, he had no understanding of range. The second knockdown was just ridiculous to see anyone just take one straight down the pipe without even moving, again a complete lack of range awareness, flush shots down the pipe without any movement or anticipation are thankfully very rare because as we saw the devastation they cause. It was easy work but it could have done real damage.
Franklin got hit with Joshua's best punches and didn't go down. It is amazing how none of you claim Franklin has a great chin. Usyk was hurt by Joshua. Joshua was just too unskilled and too afraid at the time to follow up. Tyson Fury did hurt Usyk with that uppercut and Fury isn't a big puncher .
Tyson definitely hurt Usyk, but I agree he has a good chin. Usyk just landed the crispy cleaner shots which is why he hurt Fury.
Serge did mention in the amateurs as well with Beterbiev 3x and now that I checked was at the 2011 World Amateur Championships tho Usyk still won the fight
Usyk has unreal head movement and rolling of shots so he hardly ever gets hit clean and the rare occasion he does he has the ability to circle out of trouble and his opponent can’t follow up.
Usyk and Fury are like two sides of the same coin. They're like twins, in a way. Allow me to quote the Philip Bailey classic "Twins" to you: Twins, united, that's how it is When you're twins, the magic just never ends And, also, where it starts to get weird: I can't complain cause I'm ahead of the game Please pick the pain double the pleasure I'm starting to feel my philosophy Now we're not just your average family Then weirder: We got better this suppose people never seen And if I had a chance to live and again I wouldn't want it unless I was your twin Honestly, just bizarre sentence structure, that. But so, so very fitting for these two. And a similar disparity to Danny and Arnold.
No you're not but I did specify from head shots And Beterbiev is arguably the hardest puncher in the sport.
You can't fight as many murderous punching KO artists, legit bangers and big punchers as Usyk has amateur, WSB and pro and not get KO'd without having a great chin and I don't care how good your defence is. The fact that he hasn't been badly hurt or dropped by a head shot running the gauntlet of punchers he's fought just in the pros and WSB alone is remarkable, let alone not been KO'd. Yes he has a great defence but he also has a great chin.
