The height difference here is clearly bigger between Fury and Lewis than between Lewis and Usyk. Yes, age can take about half of inch from your height, but Lewis is wearing which compensates it This content is protected
ZUAlBNa.jpeg (1280×720) (imgur.com) There is a picture of Usyk, Bellew, and Eddie Hearn all standing next to each other from shortest to tallest. Hearn is 6'4 (according to celebheights) and we can see all their heights laid out with a 1 inch difference from left to right as follows: Usyk = 6'2, Bellew = 6'3, Hearn = 6'4. Even accounting for different shoes heights, Usyk meets Bellew in the center of the ring for a face off before their fight with both men standing straight up and wearing boxing shoes which have a very minimal platform and Usyk has to look up at Bellew to make eye contact with the taller man. That settles it for me. I think this is pretty concrete proof that Usyk is 6'2. It sets a new benchmark for all future discussions regarding small heavyweights vs superheavyweights going forward. Its no longer valid to try to claim that 6'2 sized heavyweights are "too small"
Are you sure Marco Huck is 6'2? He looks the same height as Krzysztof Glowacki here and Glowacki is listed 6'0 ZWMMLqA.jpeg (1200×674) (imgur.com) Just watched their fight and during the staredown they're both eye level with each other
Yup. Mofo´s out here claiming that Manny Pacquiao is actually 5´3 and everyone is at least an inch shorter than listed. Fun fact: people are really, really bad at guessing heights.
There wasn’t a clear height difference between Bellew and Usyk at all. There are hundreds of photos to compare (just google image search Usyk Bellew) and you can see them together on video before and after their fight. Almost impossible to tell who’s taller. To call that a solid inch (which is a pretty noticeable and clear difference) is pretty disingenuous honestly.
https://i.imgur.com/ZDTHIW0.jpeg Bellew does look an inch taller standing next to Usyk after the fight. Most of the time he does. Posture, shoes, angle can make a 1 inch height difference look almost the same in some pictures but overall Bellew does look taller usually. I don't think you can dispute that. https://i.imgur.com/LAaMT4j.jpeg When Usyk stands next to 6'4 Eddie Hearn in pictures he also usually looks 2 inches shorter which kinda corroborates that as well. https://i.imgur.com/oqZRKVf.jpeg AJ = 6'6, Hearn = 6'4, Usyk = 6'2
I wouldn't say that's a great approximation for how peak Lewis would look next to Tyson. Aside from Lewis being 58 and likely down an inch from his prime (tall men can lose more height than average size men), Tyson's shoes look a fair bit thicker.
Yes he is 6 2. i guarantee that, comparing pictures from weight in, everyday situation etc. makes no sense. Things as sleep, shoes position can make a massive difference.
