    Even though technically it's 1-1, I think it's really 2-0. I don't see a reason for a 3rd fight (though it'll likely be one).

I think Catterall is Josh's poison

Trouble with a rematch it is just a money fight. Catterall needs to make some big decisions next fight. Maybe let the Taylor fight marinate a while. Make Josh wait a bit like he did to Jack

Well that was all a bit cringe from Bob and Eddie. Josh Taylor pre-covid was on top of the world at super lightweight and should have moved up. Instead he became inactive and weight drained. Proper strange career management since he became undisputed.

Josh certainly ha d major issues with reaction time and not moving his head - Cat couldn't miss the jab in the first 6 rounds

He got a lot of success quickly and fell into believing his own hype, but then aged over the last few years. If he'd reacted differently to their previous fight then I'd have had more respect for him, he ended up looking a bit of a twat to be honest.

Tongue in cheek comment by me.
I wasn't arsed who won tbh but it was a good fight and thought Jack did enough.
If you thought TTT won fair play to you Johnny.

Taylor struggled to even parry or single hand block that jab most of the fight. I was quite suprised tbh.

Think it's time he goes off camera from now on, someone needs to takeover TR.

How did you score? You're one of my more trusted scorers here (though noted you got a lot of **** during Fury-Usyk!)

I agree with him. I’m a fan of neither but catterall was appaling. He’s so negative and only has 20sec bursts. Taylor pressed him all night. If Taylor stood still, catteral would have walked backwards out the ring.
all he did was throw a left hand every now and then.

first catterall fight I’ve seen and won’t watch him again, too negative.
Taylor is no eye catcher but at least he fights.

Yeah I actually said if Catterall just jabbed, popped a quit combo and spun out, the fight would've been easy for him because Josh just froze whenever Cat threw multiples

You have to remember who were the power brokers at 147 at the time, though. Who was he going to move up and face? The only realistic option was Crawford, who would have killed Josh, and then what?

I don't disagree, Taylor like Crawford cleared out a weak division at the time, still unifying is still an achievement, you can't control who is there at the time, same with Canelo at Super Middle. The fact is some of the current divisions aren't very deep, it is what it is.

No problem with 9-3. Effort does not equal success. Contact does not mean a scoring shot. Punch stats were well off.
