Where oh where does he go from here? By the time he boxes again it could be four years since he won a fight.

Still, you haven't had 1% of success in life that Josh Taylor has had in boxing.

Probably go home to his massive mansion to look at his undisputed belts.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that a knucklehead like Taylor is a materialist. He's hardly got two brain cells to rub together! But his career is in tatters!

He’s lost a few fights at the back end of his career after a legendary run. No shame.

Josh Taylor is a cert to be in Boxing's Hall of Fame along with the other greats.

Certainly no shame in the ring. He has been a very good boxer. His stint at the high level was very short, but he achieved all that he could during that time. Then there's the person...

He clearly needs to retire now.

Needs to accept that he is shot and accumulating losses at the back of his career will only tarnish his legacy.

If he doesn’t need the money then hang them up.

he needs Strength, to handle stronger more durable guys like Catterall, who won that fight no question...

anyway, I think 'if' Taylor was stronger physically & it boosted his confidence against such fighters, it would allow him to open up more attacks & combos to the head, in both the Catterall fights, he had to be cautious, because he knew he was getting clipped often & hard, where as if he could match in strength & durability, his early career dominance would resurface.

I don't think he can be anymore successful without some 'necessary' changes, personally I think his career is all but finished.

a very good fighter, though not a great in the classic sense!

Watched the fight just now, had catterall winning as much as it pains me to admit. Taylor doesn’t seem to have any pop in his shots anymore. If he keeps going he needs a new trainer in my opinion,

Davison and McNally have both took away from Taylor’s strengths which was high paced inside fighting. Under McNally in particular he’s boxing from way too far out.

If I was him, and he’s done well with his money, I’d call it a day and enjoy life.

he doesn’t have much left of the bounce or athleticism he had during his WBSS days, his shots are sloppy and cuffing and he can’t get out of the way of 1-2s (though he was never a defensive wizard). now, he’s a fairly ordinary fighter.

at 33 I would probably call it a day as there’s only more beatings to come

Is Taylor shot or is Jacks awkward style his kryptonite?
