If I was Tyson Fury I would get a Samoan trible tattoo and join the Blood Line. Then I would ask Roman Reigns to spear Usyk. Then Fury is sure to win. Unless Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out and stunners everybody.
I think Hrgovic would take the Usyk fight over AJ to challenge for all the belts. He can fight AJ later.
Don't forget Fury was a drug cheat. And no way in hell he was doping back then, and not doping now as well, when he is just lazy period, and it's a lot older + his recovery is way way worst, especially at that weight. Also ducking someone for 2 f****** year to be age him out, is just as bad, and in the meanwhile your promoter trying all kind of mental gymnastics and banning anyone who doesn't repeat the narrative, that was Usyk team fault. The guy banned TalkSports for criticize him just a bit for the Ngannou fight, when they are his biggest cheerleaders on the planet. Simon Jordan, Gareth A. Davies and Spencer Oliver has licking his **** for godknows how long. He is an arrogant narcist.
Parker is the most deserving contender. Joshua vs Hrgovic/Dubois winner will fight in September. So no way any of those guys can make October. If Fury doesn't fight in October, fight Parker instead and call it a career. Or Kabayel.
6-7 months to rest and then prepare for the rematch would be very good for both guys I think, but, as you say, it's easy to sceptical to that it will actually happen then.
My guess is that Usyk is quite happy to have it a bit later than October. If it was in October he would have to train through July and then begin the camp in August. I imagine that he will want to have a bit it more time off after preparing for this fight since September-October last year.
That wouldn't surprise me. We all know there was no robbery though, robberies happen all the time but not this time.
One or two months later is ok if that's what Usyk wants so long as it's written in stone that Fury must honor that date, the problem is those dirty tricksters can't be trusted.
One would think that Usyk will show very little patience for Fury's trickery, now that he doesn't have to. Really hope so.
He should not even give Fury a chance if we are to be fair. All of the UK Media and Warren and Spencer Brown, and Parker even was saying that if Fury beats Usyk he is the GOAT, and just needs to retire or fight AJ. Make no mistake about it, if the judges gave it to Fury, even though with blatant corruption and robbery, he would have ducked Usyk and retired. Usyk should just do the same. Being good and honest is one thing, but when people see this, they think you are just stupid and try to gain benefit from you for your good nature. Just return the favor. It's silly to give Fury another chance at the shot at Undisputed and even try to not get you stripped by IBF. This was promoted as one in a life time really fight. And we will have another Undisputed in less than 6 months or so. Fury threaten to drops the title if he wins, well if Usyk wants to cash, do the same, and rematch him with no titles. He should never allow Fury another shot at Undisputed, having in mind what Usyk got to goes through to face the fraud. And they try to rob him big time, and will try the same in the rematch as well.
Usyk will start the 2nd fight a firm favourite and rightly so but I think there was enough in the first 7 rounds to suggest Fury has a decent chance in the rematch. I'm not sure what round it was, think it was the 7th or the 8th when Usyk landed that big looping left hook that broke Furys nose, that punch was the turning point that tipped the fight on its head, Furys body language changed instantly and I presume it then became difficult to breath through the nose and with swallowing the blood. It reminded me of a similar momentum changer in Kel Brook v Carson Jones 1, where the exact same happened and tipped the fight on its head in an instant in Carson Jones favour. I don't think it will bother Fury what belts are at stake tbh, the thing that always matters most is who is the lineal champion, and as of right now, thee great Olexsandr Usyk is the lineal champion, and no alphabet boxing federation is taking that away from the great man until he loses or retires.
Please behold this beautiful piece of audio visual art - a short clip - see below. A very practical clip also - as you can clearly see the two instances when the referee blatantly obstructed Usyk during his assault - prior to the ref saving Fury by ruling a technical KD. Together with some other poor refereeing during the fight that was obviously in favour of Fury, is there any reason to believe that Fury won’t be similarly crutched in a rematch? There was also the sole judge who inexplicably scored it for Fury - a judge apparently appointed by the WBC. Usyk beat Fury clearly and convincingly - no question - but it’s obvious that he HAD to dominate as thoroughly as he did just to ensure that he got the nod. Even though the right man ultimately won - it doesn’t AT ALL avert or eclipse the fact that there was some very dodgy officiating/scoring in play. IF Usyk had still proven himself clearly superior BUT wasn’t quite as dominant as he actually was - the heavily biased treatment might’ve actually succeeded in seeing Fury secure an undeserved victory. The possibility of that same type of unjust treatment remains as a potential problem in a rematch. Victory notwithstanding, Team Usyk need to highlight the inequities and ensure they get an even playing field in the rematch or tell Team Fury to take a hike. This content is protected
You guys... do realise the Usyk-Fury rematch will feature the exact same (if not worse) pattern of endless delays and rescheduling that the first fight was plagued with, right? All of which will be Team Fury's fault - of course We haven't heard a single thing from Tyson -- an erratic character at best, whose whole professional identity was glued to his O -- but his promoters, who ultimately only serve the $, are promising a second fight less than 2 weeks later? We also know that the entire buildup to Usyk-Fury2, should it happen, will be 99.9% focused on Fury-AJ, with Fury getting rid of Big John and magically flattening Usyk Fury, and everything relating to Fury is pure poison
