That’s a fantastic photo and the relevance of the participants is obvious.

At any rate, there should be more such photos of the old guard standing alongside the current crop - like when they used to intro ex champs into the ring prior to big fights.

To be exact, Lewis’ prime height was 6’4 3/4”.

It seems clear that Fury is wearing the chunkiest footwear, that much more chunky than Lewis’.

Both Usyk and Evander are wearing dress shoe style footwear in line with the rest of their more formal attire.

Its very important when we do mythical H2H matchups. Saying Usyk is "George Foreman sized" is a massive difference from saying that he was actually really more Renaldo Snipes sized. Its also used as a way to unfairly gatekeep the small heavyweights from winning mythical H2H matchups. If small heavyweights like 6'1 Jack Dempsey or 6'1 Joe Louis are only an inch shorter than 6'2 Oleksandr Usyk it helps them in these kind of discussions tremendously because we know now from watching Usyk that you can be a 6'2 sized heavyweight and still beat even the biggest and best superheavyweights.

Lennox Lewis and Holyfield are both 98 years old. So they clearly lost height though the years.

Lol first off there is a thing called weight class not height class. So Usyk is a 200 pound guy who put on weight. Foreman was a 230 pound guy who lost weight. Second there is no such thing as super heavyweight. It is just something EPSN came up with and no casuals run it into the ground. Michael Grant, Jorge Luis Gonzales, Lance Whitaker, Mike White, Stanley Wright were all between 6'7 and 6'10 and they were all at least 250 pounds to 300 pounds. Nobody ever referred to these guys are super heavyweights but there is no such term.

Super heavyweight is indeed a media hype term but while yes, there have always been super-tall/heavy boxers, the new crop that came about in the 2010s Fury, AJ, Wilder were rightly or wrongly viewed as much more talented and/or skilled than the 6'6"+ guys of the past who were often just lumbering.

The fact that a ~6'3" guy just beat 2 out of 3 and would be favored against the third, probably exposed that they weren't quite the next evolutionary phase of HW like some proclaimed.

Lewis? Maybe 1/2” lost calling in averages, but he’s held his height well.

‘Vander was never more than about 6’1” anyway. The head butts might’ve also lent to greater compression of his height. Atop that, and to repeat, Fury is wearing much chunkier footwear.

Now Clint Eastwood is 93, just a few days off from 94 - and he’s lost a truck load of height - as well as being stooped. Clint was 6’3”’at best, never 6’4”. Looks to be an inch or more below 6 ft these days.

Height is more of a range. Its never a static number. The question of Usyk's height can be most accurately placed to about 6'2 to 6'2 and a half. I think thats fair. You can mayyybe push that as far as 6'2 and 3 quarters at the most but you can't just go by only his upper estimate when theres a lot of instances where we clearly see him look 6'2 flat.
