Tyson Fury, fresh off a convincing win over Jersey Joe Bugner steps up to face a faster more youthful opponent. Williams can be knocked out by big punchers but against more average power he is very much like Berbick and Norton. All three can soak up the best from a non puncher (Holmes for example) all night but the big punchers often make short work of them. Does fury hit harder than Holmes? If he can't get Williams out of there can he outbox the big rangy fast youngster who also possessing a superlative jab and good skills?
Not sure of the exact outcome but I’d probably favor Tyson Fury. Truth was a very talented boxer. Especially for a guy who started as late as he did and with a relatively short amateur career. Excellent left jab. Solid right cross. And the ability to rise off the canvas and compose himself. But his chin sometimes failed him. And he’d be up against one of the few opponents in his career who surpassed him in height and reach.
I don't think Williams is physically strong enough to beat Fury over the long haul, he has the talent and a very good jab to trouble Fury in the 1st half of the fight. But I see Fury's extra size and durability being the difference and I think Fury wins by late stoppage if hes in top form.
